Krista, I have never warmed my son's formula.  I give it to him right out of the fridge.  I ask the Doctor if this was OK and she said it was fine.  Cold or Warmed does not matter, just how ever they like it.

I have given my daughter sippy cups w/milk but not much, she is still b/f. With my son my ped. said it was ok to give milk as long as I also gave a vitamin. I have now done this with all three.

I recently converted my boys from formula to cow's milk and they did great. It only took three days of 1/2 formula and 1/2 milk and then they took a full bottle of milk the 4th day. We've not had any problems.

My ped told me to just go straight to milk, no need for weening. If they're on regular(not soy) formula now, it contains milk so there should be no reaction, so no need for weening. But thats just my ped.

When I ween my son off Formula (in Feb.), I am going to do 1/4 whole milk + 3/4 Formula in all 3 bottles for a week, then 1/2 + 1/2 for the next week, then 3/4 + 1/2 formula, for the last week. Finally, just MILK!! I can not wait!! Formula is SO expensive
