Anyone dealing with a stomach flu in their house? My 11 month old daughter got it first (last Wednesday night) and we had her to the hospital all weekend for dehydration. My husband had it for several days and now I have it. My question is, my daughter still won't eat any food since she has been sick, but she is drinking her formula. She hates pedialyte. How long will it be before she gets her appetite back?

My son had the same thing. He likes the mother-to-mother non flavored pedialyte. It took 9 days for my son to eat solid foods again.

My son just went through this last week and it lasted almost a whole week! The doc said that the formula milk product stimulates the diarrhea so made us stop and my son would take gatorade, I normally would never give it to him but the doc said that and pedialyte so I did for a few days and slowly alternated the formula b.c. he was still hungry but it helped the dehydration and the diarrhea. So try gatorade b.c. there are so many flavors you can try and it's a more affordable and temporary. Good luck!
