My son still wakes up at least twice at night for his bottle, his now 19 months. He doesn't eat very well at home but I'm told he does at creche. On the subject at creche, he's also getting sick so often, how do I break this cycle?

Hi,

I'm going to be very honest, your son doesn't need to be getting up in the night for feeds anymore. He's only doing this b/c he know mommy is going to come see me.

I've read that at about 9 months, babies don't need night time feeds anymore.

What he needs is 3 meals a day with milk and/or water in a sippy cup at this point.

I'm sure you'll find it really hard to ignore his cry in the night but if you can, you'll see that he'll stop doing within a week, I guarantee it.

I've done so much reading on every topic and got info at the early years center that I feel I'm giving you the best advice.

Good luck, and let me know if you've got anymore questions, I'd be happy to help
