My son turns 2 on February 12, 2011. That's the day I'll be having his party. I'll be doing a Toy Story 3 themed party, that includes the cake, decorations. Now it's just an idea of everything else.

I have this idea so far, "Put a current photo of your baby in an oversized cardboard mat frame. Hang the photo along with acid-free markers in a conspicuous place and invite guests to write a message to the birthday child." But is there any other fun ones I can do along with this?

What kind of foods/snacks should I have & I'm not sure if there are many kids coming should I still have goody bags?

Thanks in advance!!! ( :

Yeah, not too many kids will be coming. Mostly just people 16-..... I think maybe 3 kids are coming so I don't know if I should get the goody bags. Maybe I'll make up several of them... Good luck with yours too ( :

We are not doing anything fancy for our daughter's 2nd birthday. We'll have a cake, probably from Costco, and probably pizza at our house. There will be four kids plus our daughter ranging in age from 2 to 10. We will have something for the kids to take home but I don't have a clue what! Last year we gave out bubbles.
Good luck! Our party is Feb. 5 (birthday is Feb. 1).

Sounds like your way more prepared than I am for my son's second birthday. I was just considering going to McDonalds and letting the kids play in play land. McDonalds will provide the cake and ice cream, happy meals (10 of them), and goody bags. I'm still not sure I'm going to do that, but i don't have any other ideas.

However, If there are kids there I would definitely hand out goody bags. When I had my sons first birthday I had no clue and didn't have anything for the kids that came. All the kids looked so sad they didn't have anything to open. I still feel awful I didn't have anything for them.
