9 Month Old Feeding Schedule

My 9 month old still has 4 bottles a day. I was giving him 3 for awhile but the doctors were concerned that he was not gaining enough weight so i bumped him back up to 4 bottles a day.
8am-8 oz bottle and then some kind of oatmeal or jar stage 3 cereal
10am-some puffs,water
12-1 jar fruit, 1 jar veggie, 8 oz bottle
3pm-2-4oz of juice, puffs or crunchies
5pm-8oz bottle, 1 jar 3rd stage dinner, sometimes 2 oz fruit
8pm-8 oz bottle
My child for some reason loves his baby food and does not have a lot of interest in adult food yet so i am pushing more non baby foods every week.

My son Ben was born on the 8th Feb.Ben ismy third child,and at this stsge a baby should only be drinking 2 bottles a day,a pint of milk in total.

Typical day for Ben would be



Wakes up at 7.45

Breakfast-Readybrek/Weetabix or Porridge

toast

Juice

Yogurt



Playtime



11.30- nap until 2pm with 7oz bottle



Lunch-soup and sandwich,some finger food and juice



Playtime

Ben rarely has a 2nd sleep in the afternoon and doesn't get cranky until nearly bed which is 7.15



6 pm Dinner-Ben will eat whatever we have,pasta,potatoes and veg strfry etc



7.15 Bedtime and straight to sleep with a 7oz bottle until 7.45 am next morning

my daughter is 10 months today but i have never given her the baby food out of the jars or tins and she wakes at 630 has a play and then has breakfast at 7- 730 toast and porridge or weekbixs and a jucie and then she has a sleep around 10 -1030 then for lunch she has a sandwitch for luch or pasta and water for a drink then at 2- 230 she has a sleep then at 5 she has meat n vegs or what ever i cook for tea then at 730-8 she goes to bed and has a bottle of milk nine times out of ten when she has a nap dueing the day she goes to sleep with out a bottle this has been or schedule since she was 7 months old.

my son will be 10 mos next week..
8am- 6oz bottle
9-10am - cherrios/puffs/crackers and cereal mixed with a tub of 2nd stage fruits
11-11:30am- 6oz bottle and nap
12:30-1pm- cheerios/puffs/crackers and cereal mixed with a tub of 2nd stage veggies
2:30-3pm- 6oz bottle and nap
6-6:30pm- 2 small jars of 2nd stage meats or 1 big jar of 3rd stage dinners
7:30-8pm- 6oz of water before bed

we do a 6 oz bottle in the morning. Snack/Breakfast before a nap cereal w/ fruit. 4oz in a sippy at lunch, with fruit & veggies and some finger foods. 3pm usually 6 oz. bottle, small snack if needed Dinner 4oz in sippy with fruit & veggie cereal and some finger foods. Before bed a 4oz bottle. We also offer a sippy with water if he's asking for something. Sometimes when we take a drink he wants one too. His fruits and veggies are jars, but we are slowly getting away from them as he's getting better at feeding himself. We've been offering him small size bits of stuff we eat and he wants less jar food! Remember they should still get about 24oz of formula/breastmilk a day give or take a little. My guy is 21.5lbs, 30.25 inches and was 9 mos on the 6th.

i dont know if its right or not bc i am a first time parent but it seems to work for my son. 8am-cereal and bottle 11am- fruit and juice 2pm- veggies and bottle 5pm-meat(or dinner entree like the lazana or speghetti that they got in the baby food jars) and juice 8pm- bottle, i basically do this every 3 hours in the same order depending on when he wakes up to start his first meal, he kinda wakes up at random times every day lol...but that works for my son, but every child is different and may need to be altered a lil or a lil more or less food! he also snacks throughout the day as well

my son is about to be 9 months on the 27th, i usually do 2 bottles a day of breast milk & cereal (1 in the morning and one in the evening before he goes to bed) everything else is usually solids -- i make 2 servings of vegetables & pasta/potatoes a day & 2 servings of fruit with whole milk plain yogurt. and in between he gets to eat baby cereal, banana, teething biscuit, cheese, berries, watermelon (basically whenever we're snacking, we give him a bit of food too to get him used to variety & to not make him feel left out). then in the evening when we have dinner, he has a bit of our food -- usually some kind of meat, veggies, pasta, etc. to get him used to eating our food (my plan is to have him eat regular table food by the time he is 13-14 months old). so far he loves it and he prefers eating our food to eating what we cook for him.



sometimes, my husband is lazy and doesn't want to cook an extra meal for the baby so he'd give our son a 3rd bottle in the early evening (usually breast milk, banana and a bit of yogurt).

My daughter is 9 months old. When she wakes up I make some oatmeal with some fruit mixed in....about a half hour later she has her bottle. Then about noon she has either a fruit or a veggie, then a bottle to follow. About 5 or 6 she has a dinner, then right before bed she gets her 3rd bottle. She has been on this schedule since she was 7 months old. She does really well with it. Good Luck!

6am 7 oz bottle
730am brekkie weetabix porridge of toast
10am snack fruit or biscuit or youghurt
12pm lunch sandwich and fruit
2 pm snack fruit
5pm dinner what ever we are eating
630 7 oz bottle then bed

My son is 9 months old and doesn't eat baby food anymore really.
Breakfast-oatmeal with a bit of cinnamon, half a jar of stage 2 fruits and his sippy cup (whole milk)
Snack-yogurt, puffs (or something of that sort) and 4 oz of formula (bottle)
Lunch-broccoli & carrots (steamed), blueberries & strawberries and a thing of pasta pick ups (with sippy of whole milk)
Snack-something different than his earlier snack but along those same lines and 4 oz of formula (bottle)
Dinner-usually whatever we have or I make him something healthier (he LOVES sweet potatoes and then a meat)
Before bed-oatmeal and 6 oz of formula (bottle)

9am-fruit or weetabix and 100ml bottle
1pm-lunch which i usually do some baby pasta with some veggies and then she has a nap and a 90ml bottle
5 pm she will have a banana and a yogurt and some juice
7pm she will have dinner with us whatever we eat,usually veggies and some meat then she will have a 100ml bottle then bed

My daughter is gaving 8oz bottles for milk 4 oz of juice and she is having 3rd stage food and gerber finger foods.

4-6am She wakes up for a bottle and then goes back to sleep
9am Wakes up plays
10am Has breakfeast usually is just fruit, she eats all 6 oz plus juice
11-2pm She plays takes nap then has some finger foods
2pm -- Has bottle
3-6 -- Takes another nap more playing and finger food
6pm -- She has dinner she loved Spagetti and HATES peas and has juice (sometimes she is really hungry and wants a bottle since she works the most out during the afternoon
10pm -- Another bottle and goes to bed

My little boy is on a very similar schedule to the rest posted here. He is still on 3-4 bottles a day. This is his schedule:

7-8 am--6 oz bottle
10 am--4 oz carrot/fruit juice in sippy cup and nap
lunch--2 jars of 2nd foods or 1 jar 3rd foods
mid-afternoon--6-8 oz bottle and nap
dinner--same as lunch
bath
6-8 oz bottle before bed

My little boy only has 2 teeth and gags at food that is too thick so he still can't eat finger foods or even some 3rd foods with chunks in it.

I am nursing but it's kindof the same schedule.

morning : breakfast - cereal, fruit

snack - minigo or little ones yogurt & some wheat puffs/cheerios & sippy cup with water

bottle before nap

lunch - 1/4 slice whole wheat bread, a fruit & my guy loves apple sauce

snack - arrowroot cookie, & more water

bottle before nap

supper - noodles or potatoes and veggies ( I froze cubes of mixed veggies)

bottle before bed.



Obviously you can put whatever, wherever.

Annabelle has 1 weetbix for breakfast (7-7.30am) then at 12 she will have yogurt and 150ml of milk, then at 6ish she will have her vegies and then about 7.30pm she will have 200ml of milk.
She used to have a bottle at 4pm but she never asked for it, so i stopped making it for her and she is content with her feeding schedule

My daughter is on 4 bottles a day and she is starting to eat more solids. She still doesn't have any teeth so there is only so much I can give her. Also, my oldest daughter had food allergies so there is a lot of things that I cannot give her. She loves cheerios, fruit and peas. I should try pasta - what other things could I feed her? I need to stay away from milk, eggs and nuts until I can test her at a year old.

My baby has been on 3 bottles a day for awhile. She wakes up takes a bottle then has her oatmeal and fruit. Then a fruit or veggy for lunch. A mid afternoon bottle then in the evening she has a fruit a veggy and some type of finger food. Then a bottle before bedtime ritual.

We are still doing 4 bottles as well so my schedule looks like alot of the others. I have noticed though that my morning bottle seems like the one I could give up the easiest...I had found that when my husband would get up with our son, he would give him a couple sips of water and then let him play until I would get up (our son will NOT eat for his daddy anymore!) and he seemed to like it more....I think I was giving him the bottle more because I felt I should and he wouldn't always eat alot of it, so I have been delaying it now myself with no issues.

I still feed my daughter 4 bottles. And she gets three meals too.

9:00am- Fruits 3-4oz
9:30am- 6-7oz bottle
12:00pm- Veggie 3-4tbs plus 3-4oz cereal or oatmeal
1-1:30pm- 6-7oz bottle
5:00pm- Something with meat in it. My daughter loves Gerber 3rd foods Spaghetti and lasagna with meat. She'll eat about 3oz.
5:30pm- 6-7oz bottle
8-9:30pm- 7-8oz bottle

It differs from night to night though.

I am still feeding 4 bottles, I dont know where I could cut out a bottle, Jack definitely seems like he wants/needs all his bottles right now....and Jack eats 3 meals as well. here is what our day looks like:

8am- breakfast- yogurt or fruit and toast with butter or org. cream cheese
10am- 5-6 oz bottle and nap
1pm- lunch- pastas, casseroles, stews or other "adult" food, about 1-2 oz and a sippy cup with breastmilk (drinks a couple oz of that)
3pm- 5 oz bottle and nap
6pm- dinner- same idea as lunch, about 1-2 oz food
7-7:30- 7oz bottle and bed
4-5am- 5 oz bottle and back to bed til about 7am

Hi!

Armands eats 2 bottles a day - befor and after sleep at night. He eats 5 time a day - bottle, porridge, vegetables, fruits and bottle.
