Hello,
I wanted to share with you an adorable dress that I just made for my baby's 1st birthday. It's the first time I've ever made a dress and I am so excited. I swore I wouldn't be a "pink" mummy, but Charlotte just looks so cute in pink. I dressed her in a green shirt once, and someone said Oh how old is your little boy?
So pink it is, just to save people guessing, plus she looks best in pink, compared to the other colours.
Hey Cheri, I was just thinking, it is so hard for crawlers in dresses, that's all, believe me, I have dresses in Charlotte's cupboard ready for the next several years already! I can't resist them. Luckily, she's a bit of a clothes horse, and doesn't mind going through several changes of clothes as I decide what to put her in for the day. hehe. My friend's baby is just nappy and maybe a shirt as she hates to get dressed and undressed.

Carolyn, that's very cute! I have such a soft spot for red and white dresses - Jemima really suits red! I have a feeling my Mum is smocking a 1st Birthday dress for her (yay!)

It turned out great! Also Bethany they can wear dresses forever. My daughter almost 4 and I put her in puffy dresses all the time. People always stoped us in the store asking if she just got her pictures done lol. Plus, she loves it. Shhh... she thinks she a princess lol.

Oh, that's so excellent! I am thinking of making Charlotte a "special" 1st birthday dress, but it might be too late now. You can check out my other sewing for her in her Circle of Mums profile. She already has so many dresses. She isn't crawling or walking yet, so I can still dress her up in dresses, which I love.
