i give both my kiddos a bath everyday most of the time in the morning. i think it helps them get a good start for the day and helps wake them up. but if they get really dirty during the day then its bath time at nite.(:

Every night now. I only bathed him every other day when he was really little but now he's crawling and walking around (when he can hold on to something) and he gets dirty. I noticed if I don't give him a bath every night, he starts getting acne...

poor old Donncha has had a runny nose all week and hasn't been in the bath in a week. usually we have 2 'play baths' a week and extra baths if he gets dirty or bum gets any bit sore (which doesnt really happen). Top and tail every day.

My little one is a messy girl so she needs a bath every night. It has really helped us with her bedtime routine too! She eats dinner, gets a bottle, plays upstairs for a few minutes, crawls into the bathroom when she hears the water running, bath, books, and bed. I think it has really helped establish her routine and we tried skipping it once and it was the only night since she was 6 weeks old that she didn't sleep through the night. We will not be skipping it again any time soon!!!

We do it every night as our bed time routine too. He quickly crawls to the bathroom when he hears the water running. We only do his hair and all over every T, TR, Sat, and Sun. We always do his face, armpits, and bottom. He was upset the one night we tried to skip it and kept crawling to the bathroom.

We bathe our daughter every night..just to follow a bedtime routine. I don't wash her hair every night..just a few times a week, but bath every night.

Again, every night, after dinner, to trigger "bedtime" thoughts in her little head :)

We bathe our 8 month old every evening after supper. He's been having an evening bath since 5 1/2 months old. We made it part of our evening routine :-)

Every night Brian gets a bath with the Johnsons Lavender Bath, it does seem to help him calm down, and it is a great bedtime routine! I usually just give him a quick once over head to toe to get out all the food and grim (we have pets and I can't vacuum enough!!). I do make sure he gets a bit of lotion all over so he doesn't dry out.

Like many other moms, I bathe my little guy Jack every night after dinner. This is part of his nighttime routine and helps him to know it is time for him to sleep. Many books will say that this help in sleep training! Jack sleeps 10-12 hours a night!!! I do need to add though that I only use soap every 2-3 nights (except I soap his hands every bath) all other baths are purely for fun and routine. Hope this helps =)

I bathe Charlotte every evening, just with warm water and a little Gaia Baby Wash which is mostly essential oils. Babies don't need soap unless they're really dirty or pooy. Mostly just to wash of the sweat and drool from the day. She seems to look forward to her little soak. It only takes 10 minutes. I've never had and will never have bath toys, as I don't want to create a rod for my own back when she's older and won't get out. Water is fun by itself to a kid. She knows it's in, wash, out and she doesn't mind getting in or out. It's a good opportinity for me to sit down and do nothing for 10 minutes, too.

Hi there - we bathe our son every night except for one and that is only because I get home from my Bible study too late on that night, so we just try to get him to bed asap on that night. He loves his baths and it is an important part of his bedtime routine. Hope this helps....

We bathe Leah everyday as well. If she doesnt get a wash it's harder to settle her down to sleep. She knows that after bath it's bedtime.
But lately it's been more of a shower then a bath cos Leah won't stop in her little bath. She wants to grab a hold of absolutely anything she sees, so she stands up, jumps, bend over to touch the shower tiles, floor, screen. OHHH! I just cant hold her. So we decided to shower with her. I place a bench in front of her where she can support herself up and wash her. It's quieter and she wont get over-tired/stimulated just before bedtime.
My little sweet handful...

I bathe my little son everyday. Its part of our night time routines. He eats dinner, plays for a half hour or so while we eat and then I bathe him, and he's off to bed. He knows its bedtime because its what we do every night...

I usually bathe them when they're in need of a bath. Sometimes we'll wait 2 days, sometimes I'll give them a bath and then they'll have a monster diaper and I'll have to bathe them again the same day.

I do a bath every other day unless she has gotten extremely messy with her food!! The doctor told us it isn't necessary to bathe her everyday because she isn't playing in dirt or anything like that! He also said that bathing her everyday could cause extra dryness of the skin because we all need necessary oils to keep our body moist and soft!! People tell me all the time that my daughters skin feels like a newborn, so soft, so I guess I would say her bathing schedule has some to do with that!! Hope this helps!! God bless!!!! Oh and the creases and folds like under the arm, after her bath I just sprinkle a little baby powder and rub it in and it works really well!! Keeps her nice and try and pretty smelling too!!

I do every day. My little February girl (Elena) loves her bathtime with her 23 month-old sister (Nadia). I get in too (so I can hold Elena) and I just hang on while I get spashed and generally ignored! :) They get their bath right after dinner (so they're bathing around 6:30-7 ish) and then after the bath Elena gets her goodnight bottle and goes down around 7:15-7:30 and stays down until 6 am or so. :)

Bath time is part of our daily 'getting ready for bed time' routine, im sure its her favorite time of the day also! Its a lovely way to end the day..She knows the routine well now and bed time is a breeze. Dinner, bath, books then bed. Also, babies get a bit sweaty in all their little creases and folds which can develope into a rash.
