My precious little angel was born on Valentine's Day... I went in to labor on Friday the 13th and ended up having an emergency c-section on Valentine's Day after a very complicated pregnancy. She is so perfect- I love her so much! Did anyone else have a Valentine's Day baby? My little girl turns 6 months old on Friday and she is my first child. She is very healthy, weighs about 18 lbs and is such a good baby. She rarely cries, only if something is really bothering her. Her daycare ladies just think she is an angel! I am very blessed to be her Mom!

Sounds like you have a cute family and that you went through a lot of work for your labors! I was planning to wait 2-3 years until I have another baby!

Danielle,
My other children are Colin (7 next week), he was born a week late vaginally and weighed 8 lbs 12 oz, Justin (almost 6) he was breech and so we ended up with a c-section, he weighed 7 lbs 11 oz, and Genevieve (3 1/2) who was a repeat c-section due to strong contractions on my previous scar. She was born weighing 7 lbs even. Each of my children was smaller then the last and born earlier in the pregnancy.
Depending on the circumstances surrounding your c-section will determine if you require another one or if you can have a vbac, (vaginal birth after c-section). The longer you wait to get pregnant, the more time your body has to heal from the previous scars and the less likely hood you'll have complications.

Thank you for responding Nicole! How old are your other kids? Don't you just love being a Mommy?? Yes... Arianna is pretty big for her age, she's almost getting too heavy to pick up! Yikes- gotta work my arm muscles out more.

I have been pretty great since the c-section. It was very rough at first but it healed nicely. Now if only my kidney issue could go away as well! :) Did you have a c-section with each kid? I was wondering if I needed one if I decide to have another child in 2-3 years. They said I was too small to support a big baby- and she was 8 pounds and I have heard your baby numbers 2 and 3 are bigger than the baby before it. Thank you for the good luck wishes!! Congratulations on your family as well!

Congratulations!! How exciting for you, I remember my first born like it was yesterday and now he'll be 7 years old in just 2 weeks. My son Andrew was born on Feb. 10th this year and just turned 6 months yesterday. He's our 4th child and such a joy, he loves attention and smiles and laughs all day long. I take him for his 6 month checkup tomorrow and am excited to see how much he's grown although I'm pretty sure he's a bit smaller than your daughter. He was 12 lbs at 4 months and looks small next to other babies his age.

How have you been doing since having had a c-section? I've had 3 with different results from each so if you have any questions don't hesitate to ask. Best of luck to you and your daughter.
