First of all why must this site just be dedicated to moms? I am hard working dad who spends quality time with his kids.
First of all, if you want to have tall children who will grow up to be great athletes you must be selective when getting married. I am 6'2" and my wife is 5'8". Our daughter is 34 months and 39". She can throw a soft baseball 15 yds and swims unassisted in the deep end. For those of you who don't think this is possible read the Outliers. The key is to start the kids in sports at 2 and nurture their skills with fun games.

My LO just turned 4 and she is 34 inches tall and 31 pounds. She is is skinny mini, but she's always been this way. She wears 3T tops (she has a large forehead) and 3T pants. Healthy children are not a "one size fits all" category.

My girl is 41" tall and about 37lbs. Tall and skinny. She's 4, but definitely still fits in 24 month shorts/skirts because of her skinny waist. Not pants because she is so tall.

My daughter just turned 2 and she she is 36.25inches and 27.8lbs. She is tall and skinnier. She wears a size 2-3. I find it all depends on the brand. Some brands are made big and others are small. My other daughter is 4.5yr she is 45lbs and is about 46inches tall. She wears size 7/8 clothes to get the length but is fairly slim so everything falls off her waist.

DS is 3.5 years old, 37.5" and 41 lbs. he's got a thick build but is not chubby.

My Neice is 6 years old and weighs the same (40-41 lbs) she is taller (medium height for her age) but SO dainty she is in one of the lowest percentiles for weight. Healthy though! It's hard to find clothes for her though that are petite enough for her tiny frame, yet tall/long enough for her.

Even her voiceis little. On windy days, I'm nervous a good gush will knock her over. Lol.

My baby girl was 32 inches in length and 31 lbs at her 12 month visit yesterday but she has been measuring off the charts since she was 4 months old. I think most people think shes older especially when they see me carrying her around seeing Im only 4'11" tall.

my almost 33 month old girl is 39 inches tall and 37.4lb in weight. She is not chubby. very lean looking but has a bit of a belly. She wears between 3T and 5T, depending on the brand. Many jeans don't fit in the waist band and are too long. She eats quite healthy, loves fruits and veggies and even eat lettuce. I am not concerned with her weight but she does grow quite fast. She was a big baby when born.

Alexis is 39 inches tall & She was 30lbs when we went to the Dr in January. She seems tall to me for her age :) 3 ft tall and 3 inches! I couldn't believe it! She can nearly touch the bottom of the swimming pool all by herself, of course I don't let her. Her shirts are a 3t, but i have to get a 4T in her skinny jeans. She will be turning 3 on Feb 20th 2012.

My son is a total moose-he's 23 months but probably about 37 inches and 37-38lbs. He is going on 5T in tops but is still in 3-4T in pants, with a size 9-10 shoe. I am pregnant and trying to lug him around is quite a chore!! But he's always been a phenomenal eater, some days I swear he eats more than I do.

My son will b 3 in march and I just got my son weighed this weekend he's 36 lbs and 3'5" he's in 4t bottoms and tops. Hes been off ther percentile chart since he was born. And my dr also told me he will easily be 6 ft just like his daddy!

My son is the same way! Still measuring in the 5th percentile. My doctor assures me he is just small, because I am, and there's nothing to worry about. He also just busted the 25lb mark, and is also still in 18 months clothes. As long as they've tested her thyroid, and she looks healthy, I wouldn't worry (:

My daughter is 16 months, and I have just sorted through her clothes. I've had to put all of her 12-18 month clothes in the 'outgrown' box :( She's wearing 18-24 months and 2-3 year clothes!! Where has my baby gone?? I adore the amazing toddler she's grown into :) I'm 6ft and her Dad's 5ft 10, so I'm looking forward to winding Daddy up when she's grown taller than him ;) xx

My Daughter will be 3yrs 10 feb and she weighing about 21kg and she wears a 3 in the pants and a 4-5 in tops not sure how tall she is but she seems taller then all the our kids in her daycare class, my other four where not this big at her age ,but she was 10pd 10 1/2 oz born when my other kids were only just over 7pds born so i always new she was going to be on the bigger side.

I believe my lil katierae weighs 29lbs and i cant remember how tall but shes in 3Ts already sooo ive decided shes gonna be a big girl lol i know shes taller than most of the kids we know her age. Shes as tall as a few 3 year old i know but there is always the fact that she may stop growing and everyone will catch up or pass her. I was taller than most of my friends when i was younger an then i just stopped growing an they all sprouted past me lol

My Lilah just turned two and is 33 1/2 inches and 25 lbs as well... Dr said same thing, she will be tiny. She eats well and has no other issues... It concerned me though cuz I thought she was under weight, she is in the 30th percentile as far as weight. so she is normal just in the lower end :-)

My daughter is going to be 11 months on the 7th and at the begining of november (when she was 10 months) she weighed 25 lbs and was 29in tall, and was in the advanced category for 12-18 mo. olds... so very smart, tall and chunky :) love my beautiful baby!!

Thanks EVERYONE...SO interesting!I just brought my 21/2 yr old from the Peds. office and she weighs 27 lbs and is 34" tall. So she's only gained 2 pounds and 1 inch..lol He said she is in the exact 50 percentile of her age so i guess we're doing good He did note that she will be petite because of the size of her head(i guess they can tell by the measurement).I do recommend Flinstones 2-3 yr old vitamins or a vitamin,because they don't exactly like to eat at this age ,EVEN THOUGH she's eating alot better and trying new things which i am so happy about!thanks ALL!!!!And Happy Holidays to everyone,hugs ,Sher

My son born in 2007,only weighs 33 lbs, he's 37 inches tall. He looks very thin, only in 50th percentile for height & weight. He can wear 24 mo pants but too short so he needs a belt for his 3T/4T pants & 4T/5T shirts fits good. My daughter is also wearing same size pants but is 2yrs younger than him.
