Right now my daughter will only nap in her crib for about 30 minutes at a time. I have gotten her to occasionaly sleep for longer periods of time in her swing or on my bed but since she is moving around a lot more I don't like putting her in my bed alone. She will sleep for like 2-3 hours if I hold her. I know she needs to have at least one 2-3 hours because when she doesn't she is a mess the entire day. After hours of her fighting her naps I usually give in and hold her because at this point I am exhausted from dealing with a cranky baby all day. I'm going to school in the evenings after my husband gets off work and I desperatly need her to take longer naps so I can get my stuff done or get a nap myself before I have to go to class. When she first wakes up from her short naps I don't rush in right away and get her up, I let her cry a little to see if she will settled back down but she doesn't . She usually gets herself really worked up and I have to go get her and it takes a little while to get her to calm down. Any advice?
