Is my baby too big?

Xavier is at the 105th percentile for height and weight. he weighs 29.5 lbs, he's 34 inches tall. Doctor said at his one year checkup he will be around 6' 3" or 4 when hes done growing. Hubby is 6'2" and my dad was 6'4" so its very possible. He has huge hands and huge feet too. His feet are size 8 and those are getting tight. He wears 24 months clothes, and some 2T. He was one Feb 12.

My son 12 month,wearing a shirt size 3T and pants 2T. But his feet are size 5. I already think that he was a big size...but still got ppl feet size 6-7...wah really so big....

My son is 13 months old and he is 26 lbs and 34 inches tall!! He can't fit into 18 month pants anymore his belly is too big so he has been wearing 2T in pants and the shirts are still 18 months but his feet are a size 6-7 is that big for a 13 month old?

My son also big size....his weight for 10 month 11kg and height 80cm. Everyone also ask me, how many month was him. Most of them say he likes 18 to 2 years old size . But for me, I think ok. He only drink milk, without any food. He doest like to take any meal other from that.

She is tall so don't worry about it. my first daughter is now 3 1/2 and is i know is at least 41" if not taller now and has been weighed recently and is 32# my husband is 6'2" and i am 5' 9". everyone thinks she is 4 or 5 had a person ask if she was 6 even! lol but no she is just going to be tall and when she starts moving all over if not already she will probably maintain the weight! if not she is tall so she probably is proportioned well!

You are not alone. My daughter weighed in at 11 pounds 1 ounce when she was born and a staggering 22 and 3/4 inches!! She hasn't quit growing since. We are also wearing those sizes and are only 11 months and like you also my husband and I are very tall. I worry that she is going to have huge feet like her dad he wears a size 14!!

my little brother is the same, he's coming up 2 now and he looks like a 3-4 year old. he was way forward and knows his colours already. My daughter is the opposite, she's 11 months old and looks the size of a smaller baby, she's around 18 n half pound and still in 6-9 month clothes.

My daughter is 32 inches and 26.8 lbs...She is in 24 months pants and tops..But Im about to buy her 2T, because the tops seem a little short on her!

My Payton is a lil on the big size too compared to her sister. She is wearing clothes @ 11 months that my 3 year old wore until she was 2. She is 20lbs and about 27 inches long, just turning 11 months and that was her size at her last appt which was around 10 months =)

My husband and I are short but our little guy was over 32 inches at his last visit. He was 23 inches when he was born. Everyone thinks he is 18 months to 2 years old. He wears 24 month clothes. Don't stress, they usually even out by kindergarten.

At 9 months my daughter was 23 lbs 7 oz and 30 in! I weighed her today at home which is not quite as easy but i think she was at 25lbs 4oz, i have not measured her lately though and she's currently 10 1/2 months! She's big but what can ya do, im 5'9 my husband is 6'5.

i completely understand, I am 6'4 and my daughters father is 5'10, she is 10 months old now and wearing a 2T in clothes and is 32 inches tall and weighs 31 pounds! People always think she is so much older than she is, the other day someone made a comment to me that I really should be concerned that she is not walking yet at "her age", when I told them she was only 10 months and that I was not concerned ! HA

My Daughter at 11 months is 26.8 lbs and 32 inches long...:) She is in 24 months-2T clothing right now...Size 6-7 shoe....

Try not to compare you baby to others. My daughter was 25lbs and just over 30in at her 11 month clinic visit. She was 9lb 6oz and 22.5in at birth, and has never been below the 95th percentile on the charts (she has infact spent a lot of time off the charts completely). I also get lots of comments on how big she is, how much older she looks.. blah blah blah. I have just learned to ignore it. I am 5'10, her Dad is 6'2 - she was never going to be a dainty little wallflower lol.

Hiya, don't dispare, my Natalie was always very long as a baby, but skinny she has just turned 3 and in age 4-5 for length but needs belts to keep trousers up! And Katharyn is 11 months and in 2 year old clothes, she is very tall, taller than many 2 year olds we know, and she is a little wider than her sister. I am 5 11 and so is my hubby so we were never expeting small babies, as long as they are in proportion and healthy, active etc then they are fine. At the end of the day they are all individuals.

I'm 5'10" and my husband is 6' 2", yet our daughter is way smaller than everyone else who has posted! She's right under 30" and around 20-lbs. We both just knew she would be big because we're both so tall, yet it seems like she's a shrimp. Of course, we both have parts of our family that are short, so she must be getting it from them.

It's funny to see how different kids can be and where they take some of the physical traits from!

My daughter was born on Feb. 2nd 2009 she is a big girl too @ 10 months she was 25 pounds and around 30 inches tall. She is bigger than all her cousins her age and my friends baby. I am 5'5 and my husband is around 5'10 so I dont know why my baby is so huge! Everybody thinks she is way older than what she is.

I have the same prob.!! my son is a string bean in in 18month clothes, all are too big around the waist but the length is perfect. and for some reason he is also fitting in a few things that are 2t. he is 31 1/2 inches long and only about 23lbs. He has his dads height and grandfather and great grand father, that side of the family is 6ft to 6ft 4in. doesnt take after my height, i am only 5ft 2in! so in no time at all he is going to be looking at me in the eye!! lol
