My 7mo old is sooooo teething.. He is constantly wet from slobber.. lol poor baby. The teething tablets seem to work good.. but Im looking for ideas for things for him to chew on... He doesnt fuss much... but he will wrap the end of his sleeve or blanket around his thumb and chew on it...

Cold cantaloupe or honeydew. Just keep an eye on him so he doesn't get a big chunk. My 7month old girl is teething too and it seems to help or a refrigerated damp wash cloth.

Beef jerky, the mesh bags with frozen fruit or veggies inside work wonders! I used these with my son and daughter and they worked great!

My daughter LOVES her Munchkin Fresh Food Feeder. It looks like a big pacifier with a mesh bag...so cute. I freeze grapes, small pieces of apple or just put ice cubes in it for her to teeth on. You can buy at Target, KMart or Walmart.

If your son loves his paci try sticking it is nursery water until it absorbs some of the water and then put it in the freezer. My daughter started teething at 4 months and she loved to chew on her paci and this way it gave her some relief too!! Good luck to ya!!

Other than Panadol - Aiden loves to chew on Ice-Cold Wet Face washers and I always keep a bowl of ice cold water and spare face washers in reserve as the chewed one alwyas goes warm quickly..

I also noted the other night, that after giving him panadol and then an hour later a nice warm bath and then some bonjela ...he actually laid down...he still decided o chew on the wash clothes but eventually he wanted a bottle abnd he drifted off to sleep and forgot about his horrible teething pains!

Hylands Teething Tablets. You can get them at Whole Foods or Walmart. It's about 5 dollars for them. 2-3 tablets every few hours. It's ALL natural, too.

I PROMISE you they will work. They've gotten me through 2 kids teething.

You should wet a wash clothe and freeze it then give it to him....helps out a little does not stay frozen long. You could also give your son "Bitter Biscuts" you can find them at wal-mart. They are just hard biscuts that gives them something to chew on...just got to watch him eat it...make sure its soft enough if you let him eat it.

We use the Humphrey's Teething Strips and they really work well. Also we have a teether called Razz Berry. It looks similar to a pacifier, but is textured like a raspberry. I found mine at a local boutique, but I think I recently saw them at Target.

My kids never liked the teething things they had, or extreme cold things....I took a piece of london broil, but made it on the tough side, and they gnawed on that a dinner time and just cut strips during the day as needed, and they loved it....I just watched them so they didn't choke...

I wet a washcloth and freeze. Or fill the bulb of a binki with water and freeze it. I've also heard of people using juices instead of water. I also keep a jar of baby food and a bottle in the fridge, if she seems to be in pain i give her that (the cold is a relief). My pediatrician also said instead of using orajel that can cause the throat to go numb causing choking, to put benadryl directly on the gums. Hope this helps!
