Yeah my doctor said you can start weening anywhere from 10 months to 12 months. Just make sure your baby is eating well enough in a day. Good luck!

The Dr advised me to start at 11months. Dont just take the formula away. What they all say to do, and has worked with my daughter is ween them off. Lets say your baby drinks 8oz in a bottle. Start off with only 2ozs of milk in with the formula. Do that for a week then the next week do 3ozs.. so on and so forth. With my daughter tho it took 2 weeks and she is now on only milk... I will make an opinion though, go for Organic milk (I like Horizon: sold at target and walmart) The milk i get has DHA and Gamma's added so its kind of like formula but same priced as milk and SO much eaiser than formula! lol

They recommend 1 year, but I am sure you could start now, especially if he is eating a lot of solid food. You may want to check with your ped. first and ask about vitamins that you may want to add.
