dont worry he will walk when hes ready, my sons 10 mos. and just took his first steps. it also depends on if he was early, on time or even late. if they are early they tend to take longer to do things, my friends sons like that. dont worry he will get there.

My first son only started crawling at 10 and a half months, walking at 16 and a half. Doc said even that was still normal. My son is 2 and 7 months old now and is a healthy, happy and intelligent boy with above average concentration levels. Don't worry about it, you son will be developing something, if he isn't learning to crawl, he is learning something else. My daughter is 10 months today and still not crawling - she has her own way of getting which involves stretching, rolling and back crawling. I am not worried about it (I did with my son) but I now know that a few months here or there really doesn't make any difference in the long run - every child has their own rhythm!
All the best

My son started taking steps at 8 months and is now 10 months walking all over the place, but still wobbly at times. My daughter didn't get walking down until she was a year old. It all depends on the baby. Don't wish it to come too fast!!!

My son is 10 months old as well and isn't walking. He climbs full flights of stairs and crawls on hands and feet... stands up on his own of maybe 30 seconds at a time before falling... but I've been told it's completely normal. My mom had 5 babies... my sister was walking by 6 months... I didn't start until 13 months... it just varies for baby to baby. I wouldn't stress about it cause as soon as he's walking you're going to be wishing he wasn't! :)

my oldest son was walking at nine months. the youngest one here has been crawling like a mad man for the last almost 2 months. He can walk with furniture but hasn't ventured out to walk on his own. My girlfriends kid wasn't walking until he was 15 months old. The drs said it was perfectly normal. Each and every kid is different.

that's perfectly normal. boys usually start later than girls and some kids start earlier than others. my son will be 10 months on the 27th and he also only walks when we hold him (or he's in the walker), the rest of the time, he prefers being on all 4s because he can get to where he needs to go faster. just recently he started standing up on his own (usually next to the stairs) and climbing on the 2nd and 3rd step. but he still prefers standing up on his knees rather than fully on his feet ( i think he feels more secure and he can have both of his hands free to grab what he wants). hope this helps. good luck!
