I have been trying at every meal to give my son adult food and he will not have it. He loves his stage 2 foods and gags on mostly anything else. Luckily I do get him to try everything but then his lips are sealed. He'll eat the biscuits and puffs and all though. I dont get it. I read all the other things that everyones children are eating and get worried that he'll never want to change. Anyone going through same thing? Any tips?

my son is the same although i puree what ever we are having for him. if he gets the slightest chunk of food he gags and vomits, he use to be really good we could give him a biscuit from 5 months and the would chew and eat it now he gags on them. the doctors have told me he has large tonsills and i think that is whats causing him to gag that they have gotten bigger

it depends on how old he is..and if he's growing fine and getting nutrients theres nothing really to worry about..you could always go to your pediatrician to comfort yourself and find out for sure if its a bad thing
