I keep reading about sleep routines but but my 3 month old falls asleep on the breast everytime he eats, is this a bad thing, any ideas to correct this?

Be careful what you read... books like Becoming Babywise should be burned. LoL I have two boys (5 yrs and 18 mos) that both nursed to sleep. My oldest did until he was 23 mos and my young still does. Neither was ever left to cry it out nor do they sleep without Mommy. When my first was about 3 months I was thinking the same thing.... is nursing to sleep a bad habit that must be broken!? But despite my concern, I continued because it was totally working for us so why fix what's not broken) and there was no way I could bear going through the CIO method. As a result, we never had any sleep issues what-so-ever. Baby was able to go to sleep peacefully (could you imagine going to sleep screaming) and I was able to get better sleep. Since then I've more of the right books and articles and feel completely convinced that peaceful sleep is what matters most. If you are looking to change sleeping habits I would suggest The Baby Sleep Book by Dr. William Sears and the No-Cry Sleep Solution by Elizabeth Pantley. I hope I've helped. :o)
