I was due January 30th and boy she didnt want to come out, i was a day away from 41 weeks and i was miserable! The doc finally induced me and i had her three days after being admitted to the hospital via c section, I wanted a natural birth and no drugs.... so much for that! But i understand were your comming from and she will be here soon!

Hey you this is my second girl as well and just like you I"m also due on the 27th and I'm sooo ready for her to be here already because I'm contracting and I"m dilated but not enough to go into labor!! Not to mention that the doctors have told me that she's extremely low and she's soooo ready to get here but yet there's been no baby yet!! I've been told to stay away from castor oil but I've been walking, excercising and we've tried sex and STILL nothing lol sooooo you're not alone:-) Hang in there

Lucky girl!

I am 3 days past my due date and the doctor has been saying ooh could come any day now for almost 3 weeks so im sick of getting excited and then not having the baby.

iv been nippple stimulating, and walking everywhere since i was 38 weeks, to no avail. and i start uni in 2 days so i'm slightly annoyed that this baby is not behaving lol (can't have sex because the baby is my ex boyfriend's and he decided to go back to America, and the thought of sleeping with anyone but the baby's dad kind of disgusts me)

im going to try those cookies tonight....

I am glad to hear I am not the only one Colleen, but think my friends and family just dont get the hint, i changed my status and they all thought I was joking and still persisted witht the calls and text.

The worst thing happened on thursday... my friend wanted to come round i said no as i was just about to get in the bath with my book, if it werent too late when i got out she could pop over. anyway half an hour later she turns up at my door because i didnt answer my home phone and she thought i was in labour by myself while my partner was food shopping!! umm no I WAS IN THE BATH!!! lol sorry i like having a good moan and feel better knowing im not the only one getting annoyed with this, but dont know what i can do about it i know the all mean well and i feel like such an ungrateful cow! but like you said Colleen, if you have to call to see if i have had the baby HIGH chances are i haven't lol

Tina, I'm going through the exact same thing! I'm four days past my due date and the most annoying thing about going this long is all the people who keep asking if I've had him yet. Um, if you have to ask me if I've had the baby yet, then I probably haven't! I've gotten to the point where I heavily screen my phone calls now because I just don't want to deal with the constant questions anymore! Last week I finally changed my Facebook status to, "No, I haven't had the baby yet. No, I don't know when he'll be coming...", etc. That helped for a little bit at least!

congratulations kirsti atleast she didnt keep you waiting, im 5 days late now and getting very annoyed with the constant texts, e-mails and phones calls asking have i had him yet!!!... umm no! how many times do i say when he is here we will tell you now leave me alone, it makes me more annoyed that im still waiting!! GRRR
bloody pregnancy hormones, one thing i wont miss!

No you r not the only one left.. Im also 39 wks and is due wednesday. This is my first pregnancy so im excited but tired @ the same time. I am jus ready 2 see my little man.Well good luck 2 u n your little one.

try some labor cookies instead. They are on the spicy side but I really liked them. My daughter made me a batch the day before I had Joseph. They started contractions and the next morning I woke up and my waters broke.

I am due on the 26.2.10 so no you aren't the only one! Hang in there.She'll come when she's ready. But I agree most of my friends that were due have had there babies already too and I've been also considering all of those lovely things to start labour! Enjoy her when she does arrive!

i am still waiting for my little one. i am 8 days over due and i'm getting really tired now. i tried the hot curry and the sex thing but nothing has worked. if dont go into labour myself will be started off on monday.

lol...reading everyones replies are funny knowing I am due on March 3rd, 38 weeks, and got my membranes swept yesterday afternoon and nothing so far, but i am 2 cm dialated and 80% effaced. My last pregancy i got it done at 38.5 weeks and went into labour the next day, and was only 1 cm went i went to the hospital. So i was definitely convinced i would have gone into labour tonight or today, but anxiously waiting. I will go for a walk tomorrow or today...GOOD MORNING...lol. I am scared to eat anything incase i do go into labour and don't want to poop during pushing!

im the same hun!!
when i fell pregnant all the family said i would be early, i seems to be a trait with the girls in my family, all my cousins, sister etc have all been early atleast 4 weeks.!!
I was due 16th of feb AND STILL WAITING!!!! my sister was also pregnant and was due a week after me but she has her lil one so its just me waiting!!
I dont think i will be long tho, i had a show last night so things are moving slowly!

ive done castor oil, massage, walking, blah blah blah, Im 6days over due, and not dilated, or efaced.. at all. im pretty fucking over it to be honest. Im getting induced tuesday tho

I'm still pregnant, too! lol My first was born at 38 weeks, so I was SO not expecting to be 2 days from my due date and still be pregnant! haha These darn babies just have minds of their own! I've decided to wait until after my due date to do anything really to start labor. They told me at the dr.'s office I could do nipple stimulation if I wanted, and to insert evening primrose oil vaginally and take it orally, but I've already been doing that. I also drink red raspberry leaf tea every day....but before I do the nip stim, I'd like to be at least at or past my due date, since all due dates are just estimated anyway! But I'm getting soooo impatient! Tomorrow I plan on doing a lot of squatting and walking all day long to see if that helps things at all. The full moon is the 28th, so maybe that will put anybody who hasn't had babies yet into labor! And I PRAY I'm not one of those people! 8 days past my due date might kill me! lol On Monday, I was 1 cm dilated and 50% effaced, so I'm hoping that's a sign of impending labor! :) Good luck!

i will be 39 weeks on friday. OB thought i wouldnt make it passed last week. and everyone thought i would of had her at the beginning of the month. but still nothing. tomorrow have a doctors appointment to see if any more progress has been made. last thursday i was at 1.5cm. hopefully im more dilated. and im most definitely gonna ask her if im effaced at all or if she's even in a good station number. best of luck to u and hope everything works out for you. we've just got a little over a week left.

Castor oil will cause really bad craps and not the ones that help with labor. You would have better luck have sex or going for walks. Good luck! I will be 39 weeks sunday, also prego with #2 so i understand how you feel. Our Ob thought we'd deliver closer to 37 weeks I guess we'll be late who knows.... Good luck with the rest of your pregnancy and with your delivery as well.
