I have 4 kids already and have NEVER expierced this. I have been having LOTS of yellow sticky discharge for the past few weeks....so much that i have to wear panty liners constantly. I called the doctor and she said its probably because of the hormones....and she'd look at my next appointment on the 21'st to make sure all is fine. I also had some spotting for a week, but she thinks that my husband and i being intimate caused that...this discharge doesnt have a smell...so i was wondering if anyone else is have LOTS OF discharge?

I've had the same thing- so much i've had to take up to two showers a day just to stay comfortable! I read in a pregnancy book that it's normal (hormones) but if it changes color or smells bad then it might be an infection.

Hiya,

I had this last pregnancy and do again this pregnancy... strangely not in my first.

I went to the midwife last time who said as long as there's no smell then it's hormones. If it's smells it could be a yeast infection (very common in pregnancy).

Hi - I have continual discharge and have had to wear a pad everyday since becoming pregnant! The discharge changes every day some days clear some days yellow, it is bizarre! My doc has said that it is completely normal - just changes in your body due to pregnancy - each time it is different! Asked when I should worry and he said that when you have spotting! Otherwise all is good!

Well Jessica, you aren't alone in this situation. I also have alot of discharge & leaky breasts & my doc also says its the hormones...my only problem is that it is becoming annoying...if you find out anything else, please be sure to let me know.

Thanks Ladies! I saw my doctor today, and she thought i had a yeast infection upon swabbing me and yet when she looked under the microscope she saw nothing...she said it must just be my hormones because everything looks perfect. :)

I have it all the time too at times it is so bad and others it is ok, I am very high risk and have been told it is just part of pregnancy because this really worried me, and I see 3 different doctors due to high risk and they all have told me it is normal.

My OB told me it is probably a little yeast and has prescribed me antibiotics.

Totally normal. I've had it during both of my pregnancies. Sometimes the amount can be quite a lot.

could be a urinary tract infection. my discharge went up alot when I had one. I didn't have the burning or frequent urge to pee but I did have discharge and severe lower back pain in the mornings.

Sorry, I really haven't...I've been having discharges that are difference from my non-pregnant self, but not like you've described. I've also had situations where I'll sneeze or cough or laugh and a little pee comes out. But I've heard that's normal? This is my first so everything's a little abnormal for me!

Jessica, make sure you let us know what your doctor says!
