Hey everyone, my first little one is due tomorrow (8th of feb) and still no action... i'v heard most first babies are late, and i know they usually give you till 10days after your due date, but im kinda scared of being induced... :( If anyone who has been induced would like to share there stories with me it would be greatly appreciated

well i was induced with my second baby and i recieved the meds for induction after my water broke with my first and didnt have any contractions and the labor went fine it was hard labor but its labor no matter how you go its gonna b hard. sorry not tryin to scare ya just being honest.

hey Jacinta, my first was 9 days past his due date. I did not want to be induced, so I got my OB to "sweep" the membranes it can't hurt anything and will only progress the labor if baby is ready if not nothing will happen and you can redo the sweep and a day or two. Also SEX SEX SEX yeah I know not what you really wanna hear right now, that's what started this whole situation, but it does work, the hormones in semen are the same as the fake-o ones they use to induce you at the hospital and much more fun to "do" at home than hooked up to a machine at the hospital. You can also walk, walk as much as you can this will help drop baby. Also (this is the hardest) try to relax, your body knows what do to just let it do what it needs to do.
