My DD is right at 15 pounds. Everyone talks about how tiny she is for 8 months old, but the dr. says she's average.

My little girl will be 8 months tomorrow and weighs 14.4lbs. She is so tiny compared to my other kiddos at this age, but her head and length seem to be that way too. Her head is 16.5 and her length is 26.25.

My little girl was 10.35 kg on her "8month birthday" i think that equals about 22lbs 12oz. She is a big girl!! She was born at 10lb 7oz, so she was always a BIG GIRL :D

sidney weighs 18 obs 10 oz and is 29 inches long...shes just little , my niece is 2 wks younger and weighs 25 lbs and is 30 inches long. theyre looong babies...to laurie about what to feed your baby, myself and my sister are giving baby food and formula, but we also let them try other things as well...lollipops work great :-) just do what your comfortable with and remember your the mother not your pediatrician, and my pediatrician told me that babies who are bigger are ok because the brain grows off the fat so it'll be ok..just dont feed junk

25lb Monster Baby Boy!! Concerned about what to feed him and what we already feed him. He likes everything so far. Shocker! Not a fat baby, just big (hands, feet etc). Can anyone tell me if they are sticking to ONLY baby foods and formula (I am unable to breastfeed) or are you letting your 8month old try a lot of new things???

My little boy is 8 months now and he weighed in at 24.6lbs and 29 inches long. He hasn't gained as much the last two months because he has been sick from starting daycare. He was 8lbs 14 oz when he was born, so he is going to be a big guy like his daddy who is 6'2 and 220.

When I took Max to the doctors 4 weeks ago, he was roughly 24lbs... I believe has gained alot since his last check up, but we will see at the end of the month when we go for another round of shots.

Greyson will be 8 months 10/21 and he's right at 16 pounds. He was 7 lbs 10 oz when he was born, so I think he's staying about right!

Liam weighed in at 8780grams = 19lbs 5oz. which puts him on the 50th percentile for boys.
Tiffini, Emmie's weight puts her just over the 50th percentile for girls, so there is absolutely nothing to worry about, she is healthy and putting on weight.
