I got the mirena at my 6 week checkup over 2 years ago and I am still having an irregular cycle. I was recently put on a birth control pill to help stop my period but it is still going and very aggravating. I am at my wits end. Any suggestions on what to do about this BIG problem?

No offense but it's nice to hear that from someone else. LOL. I have taken numerous pregnancy tests since my son was born in 2/2010 because my cycle went haywire after I had him and it has never been exactly back to normal. I would like to know what to do about that too. And also I was thinking of the Mirena, What do you think about it?? Do you like it?

i guess this is all part of having kids , after i ahd my son everything went back quickly and no problems . i fell pregnant again when he was 16 weeks old and i had a miscarriage since then its all gone strange, i bled for 10 weeks and after a while eventually had 3 consecutive periods then fell pregnant again wih my daughter and after i had her my periods were evry irregular and painul and heavy , when she was 18 months i went on a pill that stops my periods almost entirly ( it affects some people that way where some you will continue to have monthly perods nd some dont) its a god send , i dont have the worry of not knowing when i was going to coem on, the pain and the genieral discomfot, the pill is called cerazette and although i dont have periods i have 1 day every 3 months. is this he same one your on?
