Hi. My little guy was tested for food allergies at 11 months. He is allergic to milk, eggs, and peanuts. The peanuts are the worse...his face swells and he gets hives. The doctor gave me an epi pen for him....they said the reaction will get worse each time, so I would definatly look into getting him tested! There are peanuts in alot of things, or a lot of food is made in facilities that produce nuts....scary to think what could happen to my little guys, so I read EVERY label...hope this helps!

Krista, my son also had a allergic reaction to peanut butter on his toast. The doctor said that even if he was fine with it before, he can develop an allergy. And she also said that he CAN be tested for allergies and he's a year old. I would definitely look into it because there are sooooo many foods that have some sort of peanut in them. Hope this helped :)
