My daughter is 10 months old and has already started on cheerios just wondering if she could have fruit loops or is that too much?

Don't Fruit Loops have added sugar? If so, I'd wait. The less added sugar the babies get, the less they'll want it, which is healthier for them in the long run.

Your daughter can definitely have cheerios! I would personally stay away from fruit loops, they are just sugar, and artificial colouring. No nutrition for her really. As for the choking, they do melt fairly fast, but I would always stay with her when she eats them! :)

i give my daughter regular cheerios also she absolutly loves them.. fruit loops probably have too much sugar.. but that is a personal decision =)

My son is 10 mths. also and does fine on fruit loops. Just keep a little bit closer eye on them w/fruit loops, that's all.

Maybe break them up or something at first, but if you want to go for a different fruity taste they also have fruity Cherrios that are jjust like froot loops but the cheerios size! But do whatever works. My 10 month old is on table food so she has all sorts of stuff now since she refuses her baby food and other snacky stuff. So she gets almost everything, but just broken in small pieces at first til she has it more and more and she can have little bit bigger pieces. But try the fruity cheerios! They are great!

I have a 10 month as well, who is my only child, but I didn't take to raising her "by the book." With old school parents and grandparents, my baby has been eating table food since 6 months old. So, if you want to give her fruit loops at 10 months, I think it's perfectly fine. Just maybe break it up, although I've found it easier to let her hold it and she sucks on it to get soft on her own and chew it.

My daughter can eat fruit loops, but like Kathi said, they have a sugar coating. I let my 10 month old have a couple bites when I eat them.
