She won't suck a bottle or sippy cup- any advice?

Harmony, 7 months, will chew on the nipple or mouthpiece, but hasn't caught on that there is water that she will get to drink if she sucks on it instead. She needs to be drinking at least a little bit now that I'm introducing solids. I've had to resort to giving her cups in the bathtub or out of a medicine dropper, which feels ridiculous, but I can't think of anyway to help her figure it out. I'm sure she'll get it eventually- I'm not worried, I was just wondering if anyone had any advice or had had the same issue.

If you use a sippy cup, you can take the piece out of it that makes them suck to get liquids so that when its tipped up, they can just drink. It requires help and sometimes creates a mess but it is easier then a glass and they catch on really quickly.

Hi, my baby is ebf and she wont take a bottle or beaker. I am not worried but i will keep trying a beaker with expressed milk in. I have been told that vf babies dont need water especially if you are feeding on demand. Hope this helps.

Do you breastfeed? My girls have never had a bottle but i have given a sippy cup. they havent figured it and i dont think they will. I EBF my 6 month twins. My mom told me they may or may not figure it out since they have never had anything like it. If you really think she need something other than breastmilk or formula, then let her drink out of a regular cup you hold for her. that seems to work well for me
