Iam expecting my second baby and Iam 13 weeks and am slightly too big for my normal size though too small for next size and way too small for maternity clothes - is anyone else experiencing this?
Went to New Look today to buy a size under my normal in mat trousers otherwise it was off to work in my pants tomorrow - not pretty !!!!! These will only last me a few weeks though
Any ideas would be helpful!!!

Hi :-) You can get these fantastic things called 'bellybelts' They attach onto your normal pants and you can wear them longer! Some people who are lucky (unlike me) can wear them through their entire pregnancy.....unfortunately my legs are growing at a similar pace as my tum!! The pack comes with two smaller ones and two larger ones which you can also join! Awesome eh! :-)

Over the weekend I bought the band from Target that Lindsey is referring to. I used it yesterday to wear a skirt that would have otherwise never have worked. Do you use hair bands to give more room in your regular clothes? For the past week I've needed to give myself just a little more breathing room and can loop a hair band around the button of pants, through the button hole and back around the button. I have a couple of looser shirts as well as some maternity shirts that aren't so obviously maternity that I am hoping to wear for the next couple of weeks with these tricks underneath so that I don't have to keep buying clothes. you can get stretchy pants or where i live they make this thing called a tummy sleeve they have it at motherhood maternity and also saw one at Target under a different name but its the same thing...its kinda like a big panel that u see on maternity pants..but it holds up your normal pants that u have unbuttoned so u don't have to buy new ones right away its really helpful they have it in black white and skin tone :)

can also be used to suck in the belly after you have the baby..lol
my first pregnancy i was very tiny..only like a size 1-3 and i got a pair of hand me downs from my cousin that was a size 7 and i wore them til the day i had her..i didn't buy much maternity bc they never had anything small enough since i was so little and all the stores around me didn't sell xs..so i had to just get normal clothes..but a size or 2 bigger than what i would usually wear :)
