When should I stop using the infant tub for my little one?

Hello, my daughter Kahlan will be 6 months on August 23rd and she keeps trying to sit/roll over while in her infant tub. She can sit up on her own but is really wobbly and tends to fall over eventually. I have the whale shape infant/toddler tub and not sure when I should remove the infant block that helps her lie back... Any suggestions?

I have the same tub & the same problem!!! I took the block out & tried sitting him the other way which is ok but I have to hold onto him really well while he's at the end. But when it comes to washing his hair it is way easier to have him laying the other way. It's frustrating. He is way to strong but yet not strong enough to hold himself up safely!!! I am hoping this stage passes fast because he really loves his bath time!!!

I took out Pennys sling in her bathtub at 2 month (from newborn to infant) and then around 4 months i switched her from the infant to toddler side so she can sit up and train her tummy muscles! She still sits in the toddler side, but tries to escape every chance she gets! :) Good luck!

Abby just lies on a folded towel in the big bath with enoguh water for her to splash (loves to splash!) and shallow enough so the water isnt round her face. she loves it! too energetic for anything else and I dont want to buy one of those sitting tub things. I keep the bathroom warm and she's happy as!

I took ours out a month ago when Alex was 5 months, he baths in our bath now, I put a little water, he lays on his tummy and plays or I put him on his back to wash him, the sell these little bath pillows I was thinking of getting for when I do that. I was also looking into getting one of those sitting up bath chairs so I can bath him and his sister together.
