My daughters bday is Feb 1st and my sons bday is Feb 5th. I want to throw a 1st yr party for him but I dont want her to feel like she didnt get a party too. I dont have enough money for 2 parties and I dont know how to sucessfully combine a 4 yr and a 1 yr old party.I want to have all his 1yr old decorations etc etc. What do I do??? Does anyone have any idea or suggestions?

Thanks for the advice. It's really important to me to throw him a 1st bday party. I did it for my now 3yr old it was really special and every1 had lots of fun. We did not invite a lot of people just a few people to make the day special. My daughter does not recall the day but she still enjoys looking at the pictures and asking questions about her 1st birthday party. I just want to do the same for my son.

The one yr old baby doesn't know what is happening around her quit in detail yet...he will not know if this party is hers or his. He is to little. I had for my boy (now 7yrs) a one yrs old party - total chaos! He was to small to understand that this party was for him - he cried and then was tired from all the noise and people. If I was you - have a party for your daughter and make her feel special. My children have also 3 days between them - I told them from the beginning - ONE party for BOTH! One day, when they are much older (maybe 10), we can orginise in the one year a huge party for him and then the next year a huge party for her! He is the oldest - so he gets to be first ;o) Enjoy it - don't stress!
