Hello, I just went for my son's 4 month vaccination and he is now 22lbs and off the charts for height...thankfully his head isn't quite as big or I don't think he could lift it...He is now fitting sleepers for 12-18months and I am stuggling with the feet in sleepers because the length is good but too tight on his feet....does anyone else have a huge little 4 month old too? If so where do you buy clothes that actually fit them?

ok so my little girl is still so tiny! she weighed 12 lb 8 oz and 23.7" at her 4 month checkup. she still fits into her 3 mo/ clothes!!! My other daughter who just turned 2 weighs 26 lbs and not sure about her height but I must have small babies! I know boys are bigger most of the time also...good luck!

My four month old was 16.5lbs, 25.2 inches at her appointment. She is in size 3 diapers, size 2 and 3 shoes and 6/9 clothes. She's growing like a weed!

Well, my son is now just over 5 months old, and has completley grown out of his car seat that clicks onto the stroller....he is 24lbs and still growing strong...the nurses at the hospital for physio said that he will have trouble rolling over due to his size, not unhealthy, but gets mistaken for a 12 month old all the time. He fits 18-24months in all his clothes and I am just accepting he will probably be very big and tall at every age. My 4 year old daughter is now growing out of her size 6X due to her height, but the pants always have to be taken in at the waist or they fall down. She wanted princess shoes from the disney store, but they don't sell shoes in a size one here. I had to tell her she couldn't have the princess shoes because they don't make them big enough, she had to choose from hanna montana and other boring designs...she cried for 2 days over her princess shoes...broke my heart. Wish they made baby shoes bigger!

My son was about 21lbs at the 4 month mark. I don't buy any pj's for him. He will either go to bed in just a diaper or wear a onsie. He still gets swaddled because it keeps his arms from flying everywhere so he is covered and wont get cold. You should try to find pj's at carters, osh-gosh or childrens place. They have great clothes, and probably good pj's.

My daughter was 13 lbs 5 ounces at her 4 month appt and 24 inches long. She was 3 weeks early so I think she is doing pretty well. She was 15 lbs 3 ounces at 5 months old. I dont buy footie pjs bc my daughter has enormous feet! I would have to buy size 12 month jammies just to fit her feet and they would be way too long on her everywhere else! She was measuring in just below average on everything and his beem staying fairly true to size and age. She can wear most 3-6 month clothes still and only wears 6-9 month clothes on chilly days when she needs to wear pants or long sleeves and she is 5 and a half months so I kind of feel like I lucked out this time around bc she is getting some use out of her clothes. My son was long and skinny. They all grow differently. As long as your son is healthy and happy then it will be fine. I think you should just get pjs without footies and just put him in socks.

My daughter was 16lbs 12oz. at her 4 month appointment and 24.5in. long. That is a far cry from her big sister when she was 4 months though, she was coming it at a little over 19lbs! We have a lot of carters stuff, we also got a lot of sleeper type things that didn't have feet on them...although that was 3 years ago so I don't remember where we got them at, probably Kohl's. I haven't had to buy any new ones this time because this baby is shorter and generally smaller all around.

My boy just was at the doc Mon. and he weighed 15.5 lbs. But really as long as they keep a nice curve on their growth chart, no worries. If your babe is happy and healthy who cares how big they are? And really bigger means heavier and my elbow already hurts :P.
And Mary S. all you can do is go up sizes , they make footie p.j.s up to size 5.

I have a tiny baby girl, too!! She will be 5mo this weekend and she just hit 13lbs! She was born early (5lb14oz). She is still in 3mo clothes and size 1 diapers! I have decided not to worry about it as she seems totally healthy and happy otherwise. Babies all grow at different rates, I can't use weight to gauge it in our case. I just have a peanut! :)

My daughter is 19lbs at her 4 month check up and she grew almost 3 inches in length...we are also wearing some 6-9month clothes..but mostly 12-18 month! It makes me so sad bc there are so many outfits that she never even had a chance to wear that we received as gifts!!! Is your child eating any fruit or veggies or cereal yet?

Our little girl was 12lbs two weeks ago but she is probably around 13lbs now. She will be 4 months on the 25th of June. No idea how tall she is but she seems fairly short to me.

My son is 25 inches long and 14.12 lbs at his 4 month checkup on 6/21/2011. He was 13 lbs at 2 months, but he is already mobile, rolling over and scooting around, so doc wasn't surprised he had slowed down his weight gain.

My little girl is 14lbs and 24.5 inches she can still wear some 0/3 but mostly 3/6months. She is the shortest so far out of the the kids the other 3 were in the 26 inch range at 4 months. She only grew a half inch in the last 2 months but gained about 2.5/3 lbs.

My little daughter was 15lbs 9oz on her 4 months check. I think that's depend of how big they were born (mine 8lbs 9oz). And she is not very long tho. Boys are much bigger than girls ;)

So as an Aussie we weigh everything in Kg's my daughter was 6.8kg and 62 and a half cm long at her 4 month check up. Pretty little in comparison. She does however have big feet so we have to go up a clothing size to compensate or have footless pants or pyjamas on.

My daughter was 13lbs and 6.5 oz at her 4 month check up. For the sleepers, I would try and get the sleepers without the feet. Or just stick to onesies and pants for sleeping...That way you won't have feet in them.

My son was 19 lbs and 26 1/2 inches at his 4 month checkup on Monday he wears 6-9 month and 9-12 month clothes. I don't put him in sleepers since it's getting warm outside.

My baby girl was 14lbs 10 oz at her last visit to the WIC office a couple weeks ago. she is probably about 15 now tho. but she is a taller baby as well. I had to move to 6-9 month sleepers but its been far to hot here for sleepers so she may have to wear 12m ones now. lol

My baby was 14 lb 15oz at his 3 month. That's been a few weeks and he is probably a few lb heavier now. So far 6 mo clothes work ok. I also love to sew, so I make some of his clothes too and that helps because I can adjust as needed to fit.

My son is 25 inches long and weighs 15 lbs, 10 oz as of 6/6/11. He is wearing 12 mo clothing, although they're getting snugger by the minute it seems. Note to self: buy bigger onesies.

My little boy was 16lbs 2oz at 4 months injections last week. Kids have growth spurts so maybe he'll slow down over the next few months. Have you tried cutting the feet out of the sleepers? My son has large feet for the 3 to 6 month sleepers and he hates his feet being covered.

Wow- no my baby boy was 14lbs 12 oz at his 4 month. My daughter though, who is a bit petite, is 22 1/2 pounds and she is 21 months old! I bet your son will slow down. How big/ tall are you and his father? My brother was a big baby, and he is now 6'4''.
