this pregnancy has hit me a whole lot harder than the last one, and between the nausea and fatigue, i'm pretty much done by noon each day!

How are you feeling, and what are you doing to beat the morning (or all day) sickness?

I'm starting to feel a bit better now the morning sickness is not as bad now that i'm 4 months, but maybe it's because i told my partner not to use deodorant spray's in the mornings lol but certain smells like cat & dog food still makes me direech, i have learned to hold my breath for that. i still get a bit nerves becuse of a previous missed miscariage but i had the 12 week scan and all was good so now i can't wait till 20 weeks scan to see if all is well and find out the sex i'm hoping for a girl but any wil be good in the end.

I was lucky not to get morning sickness. This is my second pregnancy, I lost the first one early on. So I was worried something was wrong bc I didn't really get sick with the last one either. I felt relieved when I got a second ultrasound at 13 weeks and everything was ok.

@Erika - I'm not a doctor, nor a nutritionist, but I think dried fruit has a large amount of iron - which can also be constipating. Personally, fresh fruits and nutty trail mixes seem to help...and tons of water.

Ive been peeing alot more now. And Ive been constipated. Ive been eating raisin bran, dried and fresh fruit and lots of juice and water. I hope that helps things move along. I am into my 14th week, and Ive already started feeling little movements from baby. I hear it happens sooner with the second, as with my first I felt little "butterflies" at about 16 weeks. So cool!

The only thing I have been feeling is exhaustion constantly, but thanfully that seems to be passing. Thank god for no morning sickness mostly just the feeling of passing out if i dont get fresh air (which I remember from the whole first pregnancy), but now that the first trimester is coming to a close I am feeling back to my old self, woo hoo!!!! Better take advantage of feeling good for the second trimester, because you know once the third trimester comes it is all downhill again LOL!!!! Good luck out there ladies!

This is my second pregnancy. This one has been a whole lot different from my previous. When pregnant with my daughter I was rarely ever sick, some fatigue at the very beginning and very end but not bad and had a very healthy pregnancy. This time I've been very sick. Rarely does a day go by that I'm not hugging a toilet (which is amusing when a 20 month old is immitating you vomiting). So far everything looks healthy but my dr isnt going to be overly happy on my next visit since i've lost even more weight due to being sick all the time. Some days i can't hold anything down and others i do ok but am nauseous all day. I was prescribed phenegram for nausea which seems to do O.K with helping at night time but not so much during the day. I've been slacking on stuff a lot this time 'cause I'm constantly so sick. Hopefully it'll go away soon, I don't want to have this the whole 9 months. 3 months of it has been bad enough. lol And I also started showing much sooner this time around. By 8 weeks i was already unable to button my jeans yet i hadnt gained an ounce. Now at 12 weeks i can't button or zip some of my jeans and have actually lost weight rather than gaining.

I know what you mean about the sense of smell thing Mary. I can smell things now that no one else seems to smell. lol And my stomach is so much more likely to be upset by some smells now.

I've had all day nausea, but the past week its gotten better. This is my 3rd pregnancy and so far all have been different. I'm tired but not as exhausted (yet) as I was with #2. I do take a small nap thoughs. My sense of smell is so much stronger than it ever was with the other pregnancies. I feel like my stomach is more tender than it was before, and I'm definitely showing a lot sooner this time. It had a paunch before but now its rounding into a preggo belly and I've only gained 1 lb since May.

I had alot of nausea from 6 weeks to 9 weeks. I had terrible sickness with my first, from conception to 12 weeks. So its been a little different. I had heard from a friend that she thought her vitamins were making her sick mid day, so she took them at night. I did this as well, and the sickness went away!

I've been tired, can't seem to make it to the gym at all...by the time I'm done with work, I'm nearly down for the count - except I've got my first (16 months) keeping me up and running. No nausea or sickness, but I didn't have that with the first either. I lost all my weight plus some from the first pregnancy, but feel like I am really looking large already with the second. I still fit in my normal clothes, but I finally decided screw the stretchmarks, I'm wearing a bikini this summer - not so sure now - I don't look pregnant as much as I look like a have a paunch. My husband said "no offense, but I don't think that's pregnancy related". Thanks, it didn't come about til the last 2 weeks or so...anyone else feeling bigger than normal?

I am sick all day long the only time I feel better is when I am eating something. Smells are particularly bad for me this time around. I am counting down the weeks until I will hopefully start feeling a little better.

Well, this is my third and I am soooo tired all the time. I am not sick, but I can not stay up! I experienced morning sickness with my first two boys, but so far, I'm good...(fingers crossed it stays that way, lol)
