I weened by mixing breast milk 3oz and 1 oz whole milk and each week added an oz of whole in place of breast milk. It was slow but she really seems to love whole milk now. Oh and I had to warm it slightly, start from the frig was too cold.

the way I have helped my children transition is to start spliting the bottles. First start with more formula then milk, little by little start making it more milk and less formula. Before long you will have your child on full milk and no formula! and when I say bottle; use cup, bottle, sippy; whatever it is that you are using. Good luck!

Yep. But be careful because it can, and will, spoil. especially in the summer time.
What I did with my son is I started mixing it...6oz of formula to 2 oz of milk. I gradually increased it to half and half, than 2oz of formula and 6 of milk. Easy way to transition I think. If your tot has a distaste for cow's milk, give him flavored milk... it's just as healthy as white milk, except for the extra sugar...and Hershey's makes a chocolate syrup that has extra calcium in it. THat's what I give my son.
Good Luck! and congrats on making it past the formula stage!!
