my son started walking before he turned a year, but we were always working with him. We used to hold both of his hands and hold him up so he could keep his balance. Occasionally we would put each of his feet on top of our feet and take little steps. Then we got him a little walker, and once he figured out he could zip across the house in it, nothing was safe, and it wasnt long after before he started running around on his own. Dont be in too much of a rush, enjoy it while it lasts, because once they start moving on their own, they are into EVERYTHING and trying to climb on EVERYTHING(my son started climbing before he started walking)..

Hiya, my lil girlie was born on the 1st of feb 11 n has been walking round the furniture for months but is in no rush to walk herself yet, i dont think theres anything to worry about as they still quite young, My son never started walking til 16months n my other girly was away 2weeks after her bday,so as u prob been told loads o times they'l go at there own pace lol. Also my nieces mum n dad encouraged there wee one to walk by each just taking a hand n walking along with her. Hope this helps. :-) xxx

My little boy was born Feb. 2nd & is Just starting to walk - He has this toy that he stands behind and pushes around its on 2 wheels - I think that helped his balance :)
