What would you recommend to your friends, family, new moms etc.?

I'm looking at buying a Britax convertible bc I have heard SO many great things about Britax products. It is also the first brand that I have heard real stories of them being in an accident and how well the stood up to their expectations. Everyone I have looked at got great reviews so I'm pretty much sold. Now I also want to buy a new stroller that is Britax as well! The problem is that it hasnt gotten such great reviews. Mostly for being heavy and not all that easy. What would you do? I really want it, and there werent very many ppl that actually wrote the review. I dont want to keep using the stroller that I have bc I HATE it...i really do! I'm just so torn.

So I was wondering what everyone thinks and whether you have any suggestions on different products that you love and\ or cant live without!?

I have to say, that as far as strollers go, i'm Cosatto all the way, i have had mine for 5 years now it has travelled to Turkey, Spain Cornwall and Wales- been dragged through woods and beaches and it is still going strong and i will be using it for another few years with my 3month old. Some one gave me a Chicco and in the past have bought and sold on may pushchair/strollers and none of them have been a patch on my Cosatto. In all it's time the only thing i have replaced is the foam on the handles due to people picking at it when pushing it around.

Thanks Kristin! I will have to look through their collection and see if I can find a stroller to test drive! I also do love that add on seat which could be very useful when I have my niece! I have a 6 yr old and a 3 month old so it will only be going through 1 child.

I loved the graco travel system we had for the kids when they were tiny. They will all be in Britax carseat/boosters here in a few days; awaiting delivery due to color specifications. I would have gone for a Graco if that's what the older two wanted, but preferred the britax for the additional safety feature on the booster. As for strollers, when I was pregnant with our second, I found the Phil and Teds e3 sport buggy and I LOVE it. I think they have expanded their product line since we got ours though. I think they call it the explorer now, have a wander through and check out the various things they've got available.

I would suggest you think about what needs the stroller needs to fill; lots of walking, easy navigation through various spaces, easy open and collapse, cupholder/child tray, running, off perfectly paved surfaces. Also, how many kids will be in it and for how long? If you've got a 2 year old and a 4 month old, you will need two seats for while yet. If you've got a 4 year old and a 6 month old, one seat should be fine. I really like the add-on seat that both the P&T and the britax strollers are featuring. If you really want to try out the britax, see if there is a floor model that you can play with and put your child into and push around. I actually ended up buying the floor model of the p&t for a fraction of what it would have been. Go to the store locator on the britax page and you should be able to locate one.

Good luck.
