Hi hope you are all well!
So we have a bit of a problem, we only have 15 members which is really not enough to generate conversation, friendly debate and diverse advice.
One of the group's members suggested to me that it may be due to the fact that it doesn't come up in a search for breastfeeding or feeding of any type where as the Breastfeeding Moms group does, most likely due to the amount of members it has. Not many people search for Freedom on this site!
So in an effort to combat that and get more members into this group I would like to invite you to put forth suggestions for a new name for our group, keeping in mind our principals for the group. It was originally formed as response to the rigid attitude of Breastfeeding Moms, as a way of bringing about tolerance, understanding and compassion to all mothers. no matter their choices in feeding. I have always maintained the "Breast is best" theory, but I believe that it doesn't work for everyone all of the time.
This is your opportunity to have an influence in the future of our group and help decide the direction you would like it to take. If you could have your ideas of names and what this group should be about (ie, should it be about breastfeeding, formula feeding, feeding in general? I would prefer to be able to discuss both forms of feeding openly and without fear of retribution) to me by the 21st of November (next Saturday).
This is OUR group and I would love for everyone to be able to have a huge input in the ay you would like it run. As I said in the outline, the only thing we won't tolerate is intolerance!
