Awful diaper rash

My 8month old daughter has an awful rash. It's more like sores now though. I'm out of ideas, we went from Balmex (zinc oxide 11.3%) to Desitin (40%) and the rash itself seems cleared up, but it was so bad that she has a few spots that are opened. They aren't bleeding, if they are it's so little I can't tell. But the spots are oozing a little, they are always moist with clear liquid. I have also let her go naked and I just started putting neosporin on it. I need help, my little girl is just screaming :(

i would take her to the dr. if u tried diaper rash ointment and its not helping a dr can help. also the baby might be having an allergic reaction to the ointment. some baby's can only have certain kinds. maybe the ointment is making it worse. i use A&D ointment....works amazing!

It eventually cleared up. We started using yeast infection cream and desitin. Swiching every diaper. Its cleared up by now, but she does seem to have scars, don't know whether they will continue to heal or not. I will keep eczema in mind as she has had plenty of skin issues already and does have dry skin. Thank you for your help :)

you should probably take her to the doctors... she may be allergic to something in the diaper rash creams, they have special meds for that kind of stuff.. my son had that and it ended up eventually going down his legs, but we took him in and it turned out to be exzema.
