What should I do?

I'm fighting with myself right now. Either my husband has to get a second job or I am getting a part time night job for 20 or so hours a week. I don't know if I can handle being with my baby all day and all night but at the same time I want to see my son grow up and I'll miss him when I'm at work. I'm getting used to staying home and taking care of him and going out with friends and stuff. What do you think I should do? I am leaning more towards staying at home.

Thank you for all the responses. I've been applying to alot of different part time jobs at stores in my area. Still no luck yet.

iv been talkin about this with my hubby last night..my job doesnt pay a great deal and it would not be worth me putting my daughter in day care and neither of us want to never see each other by working days/nights, and there is no 1 else who i would trust to look after my daughter and i can not see myself wanting to leave her .. she is only 7 weeks old so we have plenty of time to decide. You could always try working and leave if you change your mind

Another thing you need to consider is the fact that your relationship will probably be heavily affected if you do a part-time job at night because you won;t have much time together.

I would be going to work after my husband comes home from work. So the nights I go to work, My husband would be taking care of him.

I'm a stay-at-home mam and I love it =] My son Logan's now 8 months old and it's amazing watching him learn new things everyday! On Tuesday he said his first word "Baba" and on Wednesday he clapped for the first time - no way would I be putting him in daycare and letting someone else experience it or ignore the fact he's done it. My husband works full-time 39 hours per week Mon-Fri and we're lucky he's paid a good wage so that financially we can afford for me to stay at home.
