Better abs after baby

I just wanted to share a photo of my abs post-baby. Granted I had my baby 20 months ago, however, for the first 15 months I was only doing cardio. The last 5 months I have decreased cardio and started weight lifting and I have seen dramatic changes. When I was doing only cardio, I was thin, but I was flabby...now I couldn't feel better about myself. So my advice to anyone looking to tone is to quit doing so much cardio and pick up some weights! And not 5 lb weights ladies!



Just wanted to add, on the side of my abs, those aren't ribs showing it's muscle. :)

I only have 1 child who still takes a lengthy nap during the day so I just squeeze a work-out in then...usually takes about 90 minutes. I have an incline bench and DBs at home...going to need to get a barbell soon. But it definitely helps to have a home gym so I don't have to wait for my husband to get home from work and I don't have to waste time driving to and from a gym. :) Good luck with everything!

Great job taking care of you! I know all the work you have done so far and what your doing now makes you feel good. My dream is to get to where you are and to continue. I am 6 months pregnant with my third child and have slacked on the care of my body. How do you fit your rutine into your mommy schedule? Keep it up Kimberly!!
