I have it and it's great! I just started using it about 2 weeks ago and I have already lost 5 pounds. I also feel better about myself because it feels like a real workout and not some cheesy one.

After reading these posts, I ordered the DVD! I did the first workout and it really kicked my tail...I'm still sore two days later. I think it's a great workout and I felt really good after completing Day 1. I'm going to do it again today and am super excited about the results!

you have all inspired me to do this workout! it sounds so great! i just started it today, and i was really into it! it's pretty hard for only 20 mins. i even made my fiance try doing it with me (we're having a contest to see who can lose the most weight - since he says he gained sympathy weight while i was pregnant). i have 20 lbs to lose to get to pre-baby weight and a wedding to go to in a month and a half. good luck to everyone doing this work out!!!

I've done 24 days of workouts in 4 weeks (had to skip a few days) and have lost 7 lbs. I wasn't that overweight to begin with, so I am pleased with this result! 9 more lbs and I'll be at my goal!!!

So, does each workout work different muscles, or are you working the same muscles every day??

There are 3 different workouts. The get progressively harder. I broke it up like, 1st week, Level 1 workout; 2nd week, level 2 workout... and so on. I was getting ready to go back & combine, 1 & 2 for a week then 1 & 3 for a week then 2 & 3 for a week.... but I had to have surgery so now, I'll just start the 1,2,3 process all over again!!
I had to do extra stretching afterwards, since she doesn't do any after the workout... I need a little more than most, maybe??

I have other Jillian workouts and have been wabting to get this one to change it up a little...After reading all of the posts , I definately want it, but I have a question...Do you do the same workout every day, without giving your muscles a rest ans if so, how do you prevent injury?

Way to go Meghan!!! Keep it up!! I have got the green light from my doc to begin working out again (had a hysterectomy last month).... I'm not sure I can jump around alot yet, but just walking, eating healthy & drinking lots of water, I've lost 8 pounds already... in the past 5 weeks.... Anyway.... looking forward to getting back to this particular workout, I really really love it!!!

I've completed 8 days of The Shred, trying Level 2 twice (it's KILLER) and using 5 lbs dumbbells. I can see more definition in my biceps already. I also joined Jillianmichaels.com to get meal ideas. Her meal suggestions are all VERY easy and quick and inexpensive to make. It's free for 30 days. I can't wait to see what I can accomplish in the next 30 days of The Shred and (mostly) following her meal plans.

Okay I've done 2 days of this using soda cans as weights (hadn't made it to the store for handweights yet) and OH MY GOSH this is an EXCELLENT workout! EXCELLENT! I highly recommend it. For a 20 minute workout, you work major muscle groups and your heartrate stays up nearly the entire time.

I just got this on Saturday and am going to start today! I have 15 lbs to lose for "goal", but 10 to get to pre-baby weight. I used to be a personal trainer so I hope I like this (can't afford gym membership now as a SAHM).

not bad she kicks your tail in the first 5 mins. i started it last week, but this week i used other dvd's with it i just switch days. its gets boring, doing the 1st work out. its gonna be hard to move to level 2, but i'll try my best. let me know what you think.

I have it (got mine at target) and I love it. I used to work out for two hours a day with a personal trainer and this 20 minutes kicked my butt harder than that. I started it as soon as I was allowed to work out after delivery and had some problem. The hormones that loosen the joints before labor were still present and the cardio in level one hurt my knees and ankles with all the jumping. Now its fine though.

Kim - I ordered mine on amazon.com but you can just google 30-day Shred by Jillian... I think I paid like $9.99 + sh & h..... It's really inexpensive.... I think if you buy it from the official site http://jillianmichaels.shop.sportstoday.... you can get food & diet tips & keep track of everything on-line... So you might want to do that instead. It's still only $9.99 to buy from there!

I have not tried this yet but I am very intrigued to try it. Another one that has me curious to try is the PX90. It's a little expensive but I want to get something that will really improve my workouts. I just don't feel like going to the gym is enough. I usally only do a little cardio & vary between machines. I need more of a guideline of what exactly I should be doing to see results.

Then I tried her workout guess what after years of not being able to get rid of the excess weight its now gone an Im loving it. For everyone try her videos it hurts at the start but its worth it

My sister in law has lost 70 punds with this work out, and she only does level one! She is still losing weight, so it must be a good one.

For Jennifer- The whole workout is abs! You may not be doing ab work and crunches and be on the floor the whole time but you are doing abs. You're constantly engaging your core throughout the video. When you do the squats, lunges, and especially plank, that's all abs. Core tight, shoulders back, good posture! Besides my Turbo Jam, I haven't worked my abs so much in a workout video!

Well, I I got it in the mail & LOVE it, I was really faithful for about 12 days, then got this flu crud, got off it for a few days & blew it. I will start it up again this week. But man oh man!! My calves & buns were killing me for the 1st 3 days, I could barely walk!!
And, Sarah, It's Jillian, from the Biggest Loser. Are you familiar w/ her?? This is her program made up of 3 different 30 minute workouts, on 3 different levels...

I am now working on my second session of the 30 day shred. I started it and then had some other things come up so I couldn't finish and now I am doing it again and I am on the level 3. Talk about a kick butt workout! I love it. I have definitely seen a difference and with the right diet, as Jillian says, you will be shredded! I would say it's the best short workout video and I have done alot of them!! It's a complete all in one workout.

It's pretty good, I'm still on level 2. It does not have a lot of abs, so you may want to add more time there. It is also not 25 minutes, I know I shouldn't complain about that but sometimes that's exactly the time I have. My new favorite one is Results Fitness with Cindy Whitmarsh, it is excellent. I always feel like I got a good workout and they are about 34 minutes long.

My hubby got it for me for Christmas. I am on level one and it's a behind kicker for sure! There are three levels so you can continue to increase the intensity and not hit the wall with only one work out. It's great! My husband uses it too and is also getting great results!
