Hello to all of you ladies! I know I posted a link above, but possibly didn't explain what it means to you... I am a mother of a 16 month old girl, and I have to work full time, so there is no time left in the day to go to the gym for me. A friend of mine introduced me to a line of prducts from 'It Works!' and I started off slowly using them, the FAT BLOCKER pills are amazing, they actually blocks and absorbs fat BEFORE your body does and is fluches out. I have a great demo for this product too, but using them made me a believer! They are natural and PROVEN to work without giving jitters or any of the side affects that you would get from other weight lose pills. I have a full line, BUT my all time favorite has to be the WRAPS, you really just put it on and wait a minimum of 45 minutes, and when you take it off measure yourself (waist/buttocks/arms/legs & facial) and the results are amazing! If you woud like to see proof, check out, http://www.wraptoanewyou.com ask me any questions, as I was skeptical about this line of products but it is worth it and IT WORKS!!!

Quoting Christy:

I need to lose between 85 and 100. Lord knows that I could use some motivation. It kind of makes me sick when my friends talk about needing to lose 10 or 15 lbs. I'm just thinking "ummmm........whatever!" So far I have replaced the sugar in my coffee with Equal and I am trying to control portion control. But I have a bad habit of not eating breakfast, and I end up making up for it with little snacks all day long! Does anyone elso do that too? Any ideas on how to make myself have more for breakfast than coffee? I start school next week, too, so I have the feeling it's just going to get worse!

I eat breakfast and I still snack all day long.. granted I am pregnant and once my daughter is born I will need to lose over 60 lbs to get back to my regular weight (gained 70 with my son and never lost 40 before getting pregnant again). But.. I eat breakfast even if I am not hunger..just to keep my stomach full that much longer and to stop me from snacking... start eating breakfast and your body will get to use eating breakfast... but Snacking throughout the day isn't bad.. I try to keep healthy snacks around.. bananas, apples, ya know, fruits, and I try to keep healthy chips (healthier than regular) around.. pita chips, things like that, that I can grab and snack on instead of... chips, ice cream, cookies. If I don't buy that crap then.. I usually don't eat it. If I go out and buy grapefruits and bananas and melons, and salad stuff I am more likely to make salad and eat that for lunch or have a grapefruit for breakfast. I mean... I can't spend money on something and then just let it go to waste... so.. try buying healthy foods... (foods that you will like of course) try buying things you don't normally buy... but you would like to try.. different fruits and make salads... but add things to it, healthy things.. like.. almonds, or apples, raisins, walnuts.. pecans... stuff like that... not bacon or fried chicken.

I am only 21 years old, but after my daughter is born I will have over 70 lbs to lose to get back to my regular weight. I had my son (with whom I gained 70 lbs) and I never lost 40 lbs of weight from him.. (my own fault on gaining that much) and then when he was 5 months, I was pregnant again (now with my daughter, who is due in march) and I know I am going to gain more weight before she is born, I can't stop the weight gain, no matter what I do, what I eat, or anything.
But it seems soo much harder to lose the weight after the baby gets here. I have all these plans and what not... to lose weight to go on a diet with my husband, to be more active, to not eat certain foods at all... but.. I don't know what I will be able to stick to once I have a newborn and a 15 month old running around.
But I know where you are with the.. more than 50 lbs to lose.. It's hard.. if only we had the time and money to afford personal trainers... and what not. diet plans, premade meals.. ya know, like the stars and rich people throw their money at.
I'd love to be a support system and for someone to be a support system for me. It's so much easier to have someone going through the same thing as you.. and it's always so much more... motivating when the people you're supporting are losing weight.

Hi, Amanda! I lost 55 pounds in 2008. I did it slowly. I tried going all extreme before and cutting fat completely. And even though I did lose weight, it sent my body into shock and I would crave all the junk food I had just cut off. In 2008, I decided to start slow. I used to have a donut or a danish with my coffee every morning. I began substituting those for a whole wheat bagel with light creme cheese (just filling if not more, than a donut).

I began doing little things like parking super far away at the grocery store to make myself walk. I did this for a whole month...just substituting stuff...not quitting to eat, but substituting. I lost 8 pounds that first month. Every month I began cutting something or adding less and less calories, until I was eating only 1000 calories per day.

I became obsessed reading the calories of everything. That helped--counting calories. The next month I began exercising 15 minutes every day or 30 minutes 4 times a week. Every month I kept adding more time to the exercise maching and always trying to find new substitutions.

I cut pork completely! It sucks if you love pork, but really, it's not good for you, anyway.
I began having turkey bacon, chicken sausage, wheat toast no butter. Fruit instead of the hasbrowns or a cup of oatmeal. Like that, it didn't feel like I was making any major sacrifices. My mind began to respond, and before I knew it, I didn't crave pork, donuts, cake, junk like that.

Once a month, I would have a pig out day, where I would totally eat without worrying about the calories. It's ok once a month...some people do it once a week, but I was able to wait till once a month. Your mind rapidly takes control, and it's like second nature after a while.

In 2009, I got prego, and unfortunately, gained 47 pounds!!! So, now, my new year's resolution is to get rid of the double ass once again. I plan to do the same thing. good luck!

I don't like eatting breakfast either, I would rather have my tea and like you I use a sweetner to add sweetness although I must admit I do add one teaspoon which compared to 5 is pretty good I think. My problem is I like to eat at night and I'm not one to munch down on the good things. I don't exercise because I have no energy and feel lathargic most of the time. I recently went to a holistic doctor which cost an arm and a leg and still haven't found good results. Sometimes I get so depressed about loosing weight that I end up eatting more. Maybe talking with someone about my problem will help get me on the right track. I'm a little older but sure don't feel any wiser.

I feel for you we are both in the same boat. I went for a size 5 to a size 16 after my daughter was born. I had gained the same with my son but the weight just came off after him with no trying. now I'm finding its going to be a lot of work this time around. she just turned three months and still not one pound has been lost :(

I start my morning off with a 1/2 bagel with 1 tbsp fat free cream cheese and either a fat free yogurt or 2 oz low fat part skim mozzarella cheese. I drink water with that. You will struggle to lose the weight if you don't eat breakfast...but I'm sure you know this. You have to feed your body for your metabolism to speed up...the less you feed your body the slower it will get. But you have to feed it the right things at the same time. If you exercise along with that you will also burn through those calories a lot quicker. Try eating breakfast, a mid am snack, lunch, a mid pm snack and dinner and if you want another snack after dinner. Watch the portion sizes when you do this and make sure you are making healthy choices. Also try to drink 64 ounces of water every day. I won't let myself have a diet pop unless I finish my water so I've had nothing else except water (64 oz daily) to drink since Saturday. I was a huge pop drinker so I quit that cold turkey. It's a hard change but so worth it. I'm here for support if you need it ladies.

You are not alone! A friend and I have decided to band together and try this year. This is "our year" as we say to take back our life!! I have the same as you do to lose. We are starting slow - changing some unhealthy food choices, exercising 4-5 times per week to start....
Good luck to you!!
