my son is almost a year old and I am still struggling to get my stomach back...i have ten pounds to go and since I had a c-section I have the pouch that never wants to go away. Can anyone help me with suggestions other than diet pills???
I'm glad to hear that you don't want to use diet pills since there are so many side effects. Diets don't work because if you go on a diet, you'll go off a diet at some point. The only way is to develop a healthy lifestyle. There is a great recorded webcast with a doctor explaining the science that enables you to lose weight in a healthy way. The link is www.resetlive.com. He'll explain why it's so hard to lose weight and how to change your eating habits. If you want more information, like a list of desirable foods or ideas for healthy meals and snacks, send me an email at firstname.lastname@example.org.

Hey Beth, OMg i know actually where you are coming from I'm in the same boat as you my daughter is almost a year old, myself i still need to lost close to 20lbs of baby weight which isn't easy. though i just started to do weight watchers. i was reading another website and came across another mommy same thing posted her story. basically gained 100lbs during her pregnancy and when it was time to shed the pounds she turned to weight watchers so far its working mind you i just started last Tuesday but the cool thing about this is that you don't have to exercise however its totally up to you. though walking for a half an hour with the baby will help. My girlfriend told me that she went to a personal trainer got back to her baby weight but due to her c-section no matter how much you exercise that pouch that we all have will never disappear there is no about of exercise or diets that will get rid of it the only thing and i have asked both my doctors about this is a tummy tuck once I'm finished having kids. the have to repair the muscles in your stomach since they were cut during delivery. but don't give up

Hey Beth, I had a c section too. That pouch does seem to stay there unfortunately! Make sure you are doing some kind of regular exercise. Walking 30 mins most days of the week is great. Push that stroller. Baby will love it! Watch your eating habits too.

Hi Beth. I had c-sections with both of my boys, and I know what you mean. It seems like the stomach is the last place to lose it. Hang in there. Are you exercising regularly? Are you following a program that helps you lose fat, as opposed to just pounds on the scale? I am a weight management coach, so if you have any questions, let me know. Kim
