I'm 28yrs old and I would love to lose the 70lbs I gained from being on the depo shot a couple years ago. I've tried Weight Watcher's and a couple other diet plans. Excersizing has been hard for me to do cause my daughter always has me busy. I would love any suggestions that ianyone can give me on losing weight. Having someone to keep me motivated in the process would be great also. Thanks!

I put on 20kgs with each of my pregnancies and felt awful. My secret weapon is Carmen Electra's Fit to strip dvd no 2 with Michael Carson. 30 minutes of tough but it really, really works! I went from size 14 to size 8 in 6 months. You can do it at home if bub has a nap or some bedroom play time, I swear by it and the girlfriends whom I recommended it to lost 2 dress sizes and now pass it along to their friends. Good luck!

Have you heard of BeachBody? They offer not only awesme fitness programs that come equipped with fitness routines on DVDs and a nutrition program, but also offer you a great support system. You do the program at home, at a time that best suits you, so your only monetary investment is in the fitness program you choose to purchase, and perhaps the Club membership, if you choose to be a part of it. Definitely money saving! I've been with BeachBody since Oct of 2007, and just love their programs!! I love recommending them. So, that's could a possibility for you...

Hi I have 3 daughters ages 5-9 and I usually roller blade with them or we go on bike rides every day. The bike ride or even the blades help so much on burning calories and keeping your heart rate up. If you can find something to do with your child it helps alot. Even going to a good park with a nice sidewalk around it and have your daughter play while you run so you can work out and watch her at the same time. Thanks and hope this helps just a few ideas. Thanks

I agree w/the eating well and finding a gym w/childcare. A gym w/childcare has been my savior! My gym is also small so they come and get me if my child gets fussy. Diet wise, what has worked well for me is eating snacks every 2-3 hours and then a portion correct meal for dinner. To make this shift easiest on me I have a number of items that I eat almost every day, this way I don't have to search through my fridge to see what is healthy or not.

If you're really busy with ur child and cant get a long workout it, try focusing on eating clean! Diet is 70-80% of weight loss, so if you can get that part on track, then u are doing great. Take the kids out for a stroll to get moving while still spending quality time with your children, then thats a bonus for u :)
