Find a program that fits, one that offers support. It takes small changes daily, one at a time to lose weight. Be kind to yourself and stay committed to your goals. I am happy to share the program that worked for me if you would like to pm me.

Hi Cristal. I agree with Carli and the rest that the best way to lose weight is by eating healthy and exercising. I gained 35 lbs during my pregnancy and lost 33 lbs post pregnancy within 6 months. I wrote an article about it at http://mamainheels.com/2012/11/19/eating... if you want to read it. Good luck!

Hi, Cristal! While exercise is important, food is critical. Are you tracking what you eat? Eating whole unprocessed foods?
Amanda is right, there is a lot you can do at home. In addition to exercise DVDs and the options she gave you, try YouTube. There are some great workouts on there.
Also, if you haven't already, try engaging your doctor in conversation? It's been a year since baby so maybe it's time for your annual physical.
Don't get discouraged! It's not about a number, it's about living a healthy lifestyle and being a role model for your children. :)

There's lots you can do. Running, walking, skipping, box jumps star jumps, leg raises, burpees, sit ups, crunches, twists, push ups, dips, mountain climbers, squats, lunges, frog jumps.
If you have hand weights and a exercise ball it opens up alot more exercise options.
Try an exercise dvd. Yoga, zumba, whatever you're into.

You have to keep it up and remember that muscle is heavier than fat. I am at my pre pregnancy weight but I am a dress size smaller and alot more toned.
I do loads I'm abit of a gym junky. I box twice a week, yoga, core strength circuit and a bike class once a week and then I do a body pump weights class twice a week. On top of that I sometimes try and fit in up to half an hour of cardio on the eliptical trainer before a class and occassionally (but not very often) I have been trying to get out on the weekends and do a 3 to 5 km run with the kids, I put my son on his scooter and my daughter in the stroller.

Healthy eating and exercise.
I personally don't put too much emphasis on weight, but concerntrate on how my clothes are fitting and my fitness level.
My body is not perfect after 2 kids close in age (3 and 4) but I am getting fitter and stronger and I love my workout routine.
