Hi All,

I am a 36 year old mom of 3 (18, 11 and 2). I work full time at a very sedentary job. I am looking to lose ultimately 100 lbs but going at it will smaller increments.

I am eating less and working on getting exercise in. We are going to the beach as a family with my neice and her family this summer and would like to be under 200 lbs. We are going in July so it is doable.

Looking for support and to help support someone else also. Also willing to listen to new ideas or suggestions.

I have a big carb addiction and sweets are defintely a trigger. I am doing better and working on eliminating or limiting starchy carbs.

Hi, Tanya,

Welcome to the board. I'm a 35 year old single mom of 2 (5 and 6) who needs to lose 70 lbs and also has a carb addiction. Congratulations on trying to cut them out. I am trying to do the same.

Right now I'm been getting more active with the kids and trying to eat regularly so that I don't binge. I've been yo-yo dieting for years and have read many of the diet books out there on the market so I know what to do in theory but have a hard time carrying through especially when real life gets in the way. Now I'm just concentrating on being healthy.

Hi Tanya,

I'm 38 and have 3 kids (9,7 and 2).

Congratulations on deciding that you want to make a healthy lifestyle change.There's simply no better way to reach your goals than by somebody showing you how. Get accountability from someone who will keep it real! A coach, a trainer, a friend. Whatever works for you. I love this stuff. Never be ashamed or afraid to ask for help!
