Hi all you wonderful and hard working Mommy's!

I'd like to welcome all our new Mommy's to the group! You've come to the right place if you are looking for some encouragement, motivation and guidance into finding some great results with your fitness! Maximize this group, reach out for advice, support or ask questions about your fitness and nutrition. That is what we are here for!

I would also like to apologize for being a tad absent on here. My business and personal life has just been so hectic, that I'm trying to juggle it all, and unfortunately, some areas have suffered. So please accept my apologizes. I am working on expanding this community in the way of Admin support, so you won't be without a leader to get you through hard times or if you are looking for a little change.

With that said, many of you have reached out and asked for some assistance and guidance in getting back in shape - taking me up on my FREE Coaching. I'd love to help each and everyone of you! The best way I can, is to email me directly: taryn@choose2befit.com and place in the subject header: Personal Coach. I'd be happy to answer any questions you may have, suggest an appropriate workout and meal plan, upon understanding your goals. That said, if you can respond to these few questions, that would help me better assist you:

1. Are you currently active with a fitness program or regime?

2. Are you currently pregnant or nursing? Plan to become pregnant?

3. What's your current diet/nutrition consist of?

4. What are your fitness goals?

5. Are you willing to commit to me, at least 6 weeks to help you achieve your goals?

6. How much time do you have daily/each week to devote to your health and fitness?

Also, I really want to help you all, but I can only be effective to those that really can make the commitment. I don't have a magic pill to offer, just support, guidance and some recommendations on what can take you to that level of fitness you've always wanted!

Cheers to all the women on here and keep doing great things!!!

Hi! I'm Reagan and I live in Oklahoma. I have a 2 1/2 year old daughter. I am a HUGE 5k charity runner...I'm addicted! I recently started the Insanity program, and I'm trying to decide whether to run the marathon this year. I dont have a running partner so it makes training kinda boring. :)

I have always been a cardio-girl... love to run or take my kids for intense walks while they sit in the double stroller. In the past I was fearful of weight training, until I read an article by Chris Belmart about "Protein: Essential for Muscle Growth and Fat Loss" at http://wp.me/pRa1N-7z Now I plan to add this weight training to my regimen 2-3 times/ week!

I got to planet fitness on 110 in Farmingdale, only down side is there is no child care so I go while they are in school or after they go to bed. The gym is open 24/7. Would love to make new gym buddies.

I have 5 children and am nursing my last child. I lost 80 pounds after giving birth to my daughter 7 years ago and have kept it off by exercise and eating right. It has been a tremendous journey. I am thankful that I have been able to keep the weight off even after being pregnant again. I am back to my healthy weight and my son is 7mo. old. My focus now is toning and my abs. Mel

I am currently active doing pilates 2 times per week, and yoga 1 time. I need to bump up my cardio. I am not pregnant or trying. I am currently doing the Isagenix (www.cindyflesher.isagenix.com) liquid vitamin in the morning, meal replacement shake for lunch, and liquid cleanse every night. I need to set a goal!

Hi Taryn

Sorry I havent been on here in forever life got really busy and now it has really slowed down I really want to get back in shape and on the right course my problem is my husband is gone alot and when he is home he works from 5:30am to 6:00pm and I am with my lil girl all day. I work part time and that is the only time I am away from my lil girl. Right now we dont have any extra money and I am really starting to get depressed and I would love to have a distraction from my life and I think this would really help I really hope that I havent waited too long to get back in contact with you if I havent then here is the answers to you questions!

1. No fitness program or regime

2. Not pregnant and dont think I will become pregnant anytime soon

3. We dont eat well at all anything that is cheap fast and here

4. I want to get back into shape and toned again I am tired of looking in the mirror and wanting to cry because I feel so fat and I hate that I never lost weight after having my child. I want to feel beautiful again.

5. I am will to commit to you and I will do what ever I can to get the results

6. I dont have anytime alone unless it is really late at night but anything that can be done with a child I have an extreme amount of time for it I only work 3 days a week at the most

I really want this and I need alot of guidence because I dont even know where to begin and I feel like it just gets worse everyday!

Thank you so much!!!

eating the right carbs is important, unrefined, not processed and must be whole grains along with fresh fruit and vegtables.

dont forget your lean proteins as they are important for weight loss goals

Hi, Martha.
I think a lot of moms workout at home, especailly ones with small children. Working out at home is hard to keep up, because you're by yourself. You need motivation and somebody to push you to achieve the goals. We want to help those who need some encouragement, motivation and guidance into finding some great results.

I'm a mother of three, and would love to be a mother of 4! I am also a kickboxing instructor this sport is so awsome for mommies wanting to get fit and stay fit! The Kickboxing classes at Aylmer Jiu-jitsu and Kickboxing can burn up to 750 cals per class! Now that is some serious motivation. Any one wanting more info about these classes can call (613) 262-8488
