I'm still nursing and I've heard that once you stop the "nursing weight" "falls off", has anyone actually experienced that? IF that's true, is there hope for me to lose some weight while in my first trimester of being preggo? I ask because I didn't lose all my baby weight before I got pregnant thinking it wasn't that important and now I'm having an "oops!" moment. I can't join any clubs or programs but I'm wondering if anyone has see the scale move simply by walking briskly for an hr everyday. That's a lot for me because I'm still really tired and nap when my daughter naps in the morning :) But I can commit to it if it works. Or if anyone else has some ideas at home that don't require buying equipment.

Hi Michelle,
You're not alone!! I had a similar experience after having my first baby, and found that exercising didn't work well while I nursed. No matter how hard I tried to "burn" calories, my body held onto them for reserve to have enough calories to nurse my son.
Changing my eating habits was more effective... so much so that my weight did change quickly and I still had enough calories to nurse my baby. My Kinesiologies friend, Becca, helped by giving me an awesome meal plan. Email me and I'll be happy to introduce the two of you... Maybe she can help you too! Kristen kristensherlock@gmail.com
