I'm new to this group so first here's a little about me. I'm married with an adorable little red haired boy who is 17 months and definitely keeps me on my toes. Before getting pregnant I was in ok shape, that is to say I wasn't physically fit or even that active but pretty skinny and with not much effort. Growing up I always wanted to be skinnier because I thought I was chubby but hated exercising and hated running even more and loved eating chocolate and desserts. During college I lived on my own and poor and since I was so active and didn't eat that much I got pretty skinny.
But during pregnancy I gained about 40 lbs and then afterwards lost the weight pretty quickly but kept the flab, especially around my stomach. I've just recently really got into working out and for the past 4 weeks I've been exercising 30-50 minutes a day, 6 days a week, plus counting calories, trying to eat healthier and drink plenty of water. I'm doing Hip Hop Abs and I love it which is perfect because I've never enjoyed working out but I really like working up a sweat and feeling the pain to rocking hip hop music. I'm just wondering how long before I will lose any flab. I can already tell that I'm gaining muscle mass which is great and my energy level is higher and emotionally I've been feeling amazing. Has anyone worked off their stomach flab and is it possible to get a really tight, flat stomach with abs?? I would love to be able to wear a bikini again.
