Spitting most of the formula out while feeding

My 4 and a half week old son spits formula out the side of his mouth whenever he eats. I've tried different nipples and no matter how "slow flow" they are, he still dribbles formula! Is there anything I can do about it or just keep stocking up on bibs and burb cloths?

my daughter has done that with formula and when i used to breast feed her. she stored food in her cheeks, haha. i wouldn't worry about it. we put a bib on her every time she eats and every couple ounces pull the bottle out, use the bib to wipe her chin and gave the bottle back. some times she is clean about it and other times she is a pig. again i wouldn't worry about it. thats just the way he eats.

Is it alot of the formula? If not then I would say don't worry about it, bibs and burp cloths.

My girl did that, but it wasn't much, she still does it sometimes at almost 7 months.
