We have been presented with fostering 7m old "organic" failure to thrive triplets. The BIG catch is they are in aNICU an hour away. I am not familure with the term "organic" in conjunction with failure to thrive. Anyone know what this means about them?

Organic failure to thrive occurs when there is an underlying medical cause. Nonorganic (psychosocial) failure to thrive occurs in a child who is usually younger than 2 years old and has no known medical condition that causes poor growth.
2 out of 3 in our sibling group were failure to thrive--you will have to work hard but you will see a wonderful change in the right environment--our middle daughter came to us 3 days after her first birthday--she wore 3-6 month clothing, could not roll over, sit up or hold her own bottle her muscles were so weak this was Nov.8th, by Christmas she was crawling and wearing 9 month clothing!!---ask the dr about pediasure it works wonders and good luck!!
