Hi my daughter has had a mic-key button since she was 3months old, she is now 4yrs old. I started feeding her puree food down her tube from 8 months. Wonder if there any other parents out there that do this??

Hi Jesskia, Because i think i started younger with Hayley had no real proplem, If you are giving puree fruit it maybe a little strong, it might take a while to get used to it. I make Hayley's veges, potatoes, carrots, pumpkin, sliverbeat, and broccoli. I wizz it up with my stick blender, i do enough for a week and freeze it. i then heat it in microwave and thin it with her fortini milk while i use the wizz stick again. i make it thin enough i can suck it up a 10ml slip tip syringe, then i know its thin enough. i have also done some of my own fruit like pears, apples, apricots. so its fresh fruit. it takes a wee bit to get the right thinness, check keeping checking it goes up the syringe and you will be fine. its quite cool, makes you feel a bit normal.. All the best and just asked any questions..

I just started this last Saturday! I am super excited to start my LO on this, he is 6, and it really is exciting. The only thing I've noticed, is because he has had no real food in his system for 6 years, he has a diaper rash that's really bad. So we are going to stop for a few days, and re-start. Have you had this problem?
