Im just wondering how often you all change out your little ones g-tube? I dont know if Im changing it out too often and that is what has caused her to have such a big skin granulation problem....?

My granddaughter has had a mickeybutton for 2 years and I change it every three months. She's never had any skin granulation problems. We keep it clean with plain soap and water and put a 2x2 gauze around it. We clean it after every feed.

Jonah has had his g-tube for 6 years, and doesn't have any granuloma, the g-tube usually lasts for him between 6-8 months, and then we change it when it leaks. Talk to your g-tube nurse about how to help with the granuloma tissue.

I change Hayley's button every two-three months. I clean around Hayley's button every morning and night, i clean it with saline and cotton buds, i dry it with the other end of the cotton bud, i also but a little vitamin A cream around the site, then use a topper, I have no trouble with granulation tissue, or her skin, as of yet..
