Hello,
I am new to the Gardening Moms group and would like to introduce myself to you all..
My name is Christine, I am a single mom of 2 children a boy 20 and a girl 15 going on 30 :-). It is just my daughter and I at home now and we love to make our yard as nice as we can for a couple of girls that are renting.. We have an indoor cat and a large dog.. I used to have beautiful Hibiscuses that I brought in to my house for the winter last year and for some reason the cat decided to eat them.. funny thing is that she would eat the flowers and when they (3) would not flower any more she stared to eat the plants too.. I am not sure if she has destroyed them but this year not one flower came up on them :-( and they have not grown back all there leaves yet either.. If anyone has any idea if they will come back next year if I keep them or how to keep the animals away from the next ones I buy, I would love to try because I know that I will be buying more just not sure how to look after them in the house with the cat eating them all.. Oh I now buy the cat, cat grass and have them all over the house. She has not touched any of my other plants but we will see what will happen when I buy more Hibiscuses in the next couple of weeks..
if you would like to you can connect with me, I love to chat with other moms and people with the same interests..
Have a great weekend
Christine~
